ARK Invest reportedly sold shares of AMD, SpaceX (SPCX) and Alphabet (GOOG) through its ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK) on Friday, October 9, while its ARK Genomic Revolution ETF (ARKG) bought shares across nine biotechnology companies, including Compass Pathways (CMPS), Intellia Therapeutics (NTLA) and CRISPR Therapeutics (CRSP). The reported activity also included trades in three other ARK ETFs. These are fund-level transactions attributed by a Stocktwits News Desk report published October 10, 2026—not evidence that Cathie Wood personally made each trade. The report does not give share counts or dollar values, and the underlying ARK trade files were not available in the retrieved material.

Reported ARK trades by ETF

The table summarizes the transactions described in the October 10, 2026 Stocktwits News Desk report. It identifies the reported direction and ticker, but not the number of shares, execution price or transaction value. The reports do not support ranking trades by size.

Why was ARKG buying biotechnology stocks?

The reported ARKG purchases were spread across nine biotechnology and healthcare companies, rather than concentrated in one name. The article describes the transactions but does not provide an explanation from ARK for why it made them. The purchases alone therefore do not establish a change in the fund’s long-term outlook or a specific investment thesis.

What the reports establish—and what they do not

Stocktwits News Desk and Summa Money published reports about the same broad set of trades on October 10, 2026, describing the activity as occurring Friday, October 9. They are secondary accounts; the underlying ARK trade-file rows were not included in the retrieved material. Treat the tickers and fund attributions as reported claims, not independently verified transaction records.

#1 Best Overall
  • The reports identify which funds allegedly bought or sold each listed security.
  • They do not state share counts, dollar values or execution prices, so the scale of any individual transaction cannot be determined from them.
  • A reported ETF transaction is not necessarily a personal trade by Wood, nor does the report establish her individual involvement in each decision.
