What Scarlett Johansson Has Said About Spending Her Money On

Johansson’s interviews document an interest in Victorian and antique jewelry, plus dated beauty and fitness comments. Past property transactions offer context, not a picture of her current holdings or spending.

There is no verified public list of 15 things Scarlett Johansson currently spends money on. Her interviews do document a handful of personal interests—especially antique jewelry, alongside beauty products and fitness habits she discussed in 2023—and real-estate reporting records several past transactions. These examples are selective, dated evidence, not a spending ledger or a guide to her current finances.

Why this is not a verified list of 15

Johansson has not publicly disclosed a comprehensive breakdown of her spending, and the available reporting does not substantiate 15 current favorite purchases. The examples below distinguish her own interview comments from retrospective reporting about property. Product use and exercise habits are dated to a 2023 interview; property prices are historical transaction amounts, not current valuations or measures of wealth.

Jewelry is the clearest documented interest

Collecting Victorian-era pieces

In a May 16, 2023 interview with W, Johansson said she was building a “small but mighty” collection of Victorian-era jewelry. She said she bought pieces from time to time with the intention of leaving them to her daughter: “My idea was to put them all in a jewelry box and eventually give it to her.” The interview describes a personal collecting interest, but gives no budget or purchase schedule.

Her first major jewelry purchase

Johansson identified an Art Deco diamond-and-onyx pendant bought at Grays Antique Market in London as her first major jewelry purchase. She said her father had given her Victorian bangles when she was about 19 or 20, helping spark her interest in collecting Victorian jewelry.

Meaningful everyday jewelry

In the same 2023 interview, she said, “I wear jewelry every day,” and described favoring comfortable, meaningful pieces. She mentioned her wedding band and engagement ring, personal gifts, and an evil-eye design she said she wore daily at the time. Those comments describe her choices then, not a confirmed current inventory.

A dated jewelry collaboration

The W article also covered Johansson’s David Yurman ambassadorship and a 12-style curated selection benefiting the Lower Eastside Girls Club. The reported campaign shopping window ran through June 30, 2023; it should not be treated as an offer that is still available. The styles discussed included charms, huggies, amulets, layering pieces, a Sagittarius symbol, an evil-eye design, and a pinky ring. These campaign details do not establish that Johansson personally bought or owns every style.

Beauty products she discussed in 2023

In a 2023 interview with Stylist, Johansson described using The Outset cleanser and serum in her morning routine. She also named Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze, Dior lash primer and mascara, a Chanel eyelash curler, a Natasha Denona palette, and Dior concealer as products she had been using or liked. These are interview-era comments, not proof of what she uses now or a blanket endorsement of the products.

The same interview does not support a luxury-grocery habit: asked about Erewhon, Johansson said she had never actually been there and called herself more of a Gelson’s shopper. She joked that she had spent $16 on a tomato while in the Hamptons. That anecdote is not evidence of a regular preference or a current price.

Fitness activities she described

Johansson told Stylist in 2023 that she tried to exercise around four days a week, had been doing Pilates for roughly eight years, and was incorporating some weightlifting. These are her own statements at the time, not independently measured activity levels or a confirmed current routine. They show that she discussed fitness as part of her life; they do not establish a specific amount of spending on classes, equipment, or training.

Past real-estate transactions, not confirmed current holdings

A June 15, 2023 retrospective by Architectural Digest reported property purchases and sales in Los Angeles, New York, and the Hamptons. Its transaction figures are secondary-source historical reports; they are not current valuations, inflation-adjusted amounts, or a measure of Johansson’s net worth.

Property reported Reported transaction history
Hollywood condo Architectural Digest reported a 2003 purchase for $372,000 and a 2013 sale for $470,000.
Los Angeles villa Architectural Digest reported a 2007 purchase for $7 million and a 2010 sale for $4 million.
Sutton Place penthouse Architectural Digest reported a 2008 purchase for $2.1 million and a 2022 sale for $1.87 million.

The retrospective also reports a Hamptons home purchase in 2014 and other property transactions. Past purchases do not establish what Johansson owns today. Architectural Digest said details of the marital home she shares with Colin Jost are private.

What the public record can—and cannot—show

The strongest personal spending clues are Johansson’s own comments about collecting antique jewelry and wearing meaningful pieces. The beauty and fitness examples are dated to 2023, while the property figures describe reported transactions over earlier years. None supplies a full personal budget, recurring spending totals, or a reliable basis for filling out 15 current categories.
