What is MTT Sports?
MTT Sports describes itself as an online poker entertainment platform for players worldwide, available on the web and Android. Its site lists tournament play, rewards, social features, and multiple game formats. MTT Sports’ official site
Boyaa Interactive, an investor in the project, describes MTT Network as a public blockchain built with Cosmos SDK and compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). In its account, tournament registration and settlement, community governance, and token trading occur on-chain. MTT is described as the network’s native token and as an accounting and economic-circulation medium for the platform. TOKEN2049 later announced that MTT Sports would return as a Platinum Sponsor for its Singapore edition. The organizer presented the company as a Web3 Texas Hold’em tournament platform on the EVM-compatible MTT Network, with BTC and MTT token rewards, transparent results, provable fairness, and a fiat on-ramp integration via Alchemy Pay. In an announcement distributed through PRWeb on May 5, 2025, MTT Sports said it would be a Platinum Sponsor at TOKEN2049 Dubai. The company promoted a “Trial Ticket” reward model and a planned destruction of 1 billion MTT tokens. What does the sponsorship signal—and what does it not?
Repeated placement at a major crypto conference is a clear signal of marketing and ecosystem positioning. MTT Sports is presenting poker as an application for a blockchain network, with token rewards and on-chain tournament functions. The sequence—from a 2024 presentation to later sponsor roles in Singapore and Dubai—shows sustained event visibility.
But a sponsorship is not evidence of adoption. The cited sources do not show how many conference attendees registered, how many became active players, whether players returned, or whether sponsorship caused any change in user counts or revenue. Nor do they establish that Web3 poker is growing across the sector. The evidence supports a company strategy, not a market-wide conclusion.

How large is the platform, according to Boyaa?
Boyaa Interactive’s reports give two dated snapshots. They should not be read as a continuous trend: the reported monthly active user (MAU) totals differ, and the filings do not explain the change.

These are investor-reported figures, not independently audited audience counts. Registered users and MAU measure different things: registration is cumulative, while MAU is a snapshot of activity during a month. Neither figure, on its own, tells a reader how often players return or whether the platform is commercially sustainable.

What do the network activity figures show?
Boyaa’s interim disclosure reports that, as of June 30, 2026, MTT Network had validated approximately 19.23 million blocks, processed more than 62.48 million interactions, deployed approximately 175,000 smart contracts, and had around 215,000 unique addresses. Those are network-level counts as reported by the investor. An address is not necessarily one person, and an interaction is not necessarily a poker hand or a unique player. The figures indicate reported blockchain activity, but they cannot be substituted for independently verified poker participation or retention.

Is MTT Sports commercially mature?
Boyaa said MTT Sports remained in the promotion stage and that it had recorded no investor revenue from the project as of June 30, 2026. The filing also said MTT Network was not yet open to third-party Web3 games and had no profit plan at that stage. What should a player or investor look for next?
For a player, conference sponsorship is less informative than whether the service is accessible, usable, and trustworthy in practice. For an investor, the more meaningful evidence would be sustained activity and revenue disclosures—not token plans or event placement alone.
- Real engagement: dated MAU and retention data, with definitions that make comparisons meaningful.
- Access and payments: the platform’s actual availability and working payment routes in a player’s location. The event organizer cited an Alchemy Pay fiat on-ramp integration, but that does not establish universal access.
- Game transparency: clear explanations of how results are recorded and how provable fairness can be checked, ideally supported by independent verification.
- Commercial progress: evidence of revenue, a path to profitability, and any expansion beyond MTT Sports as a network application.
- Token claims: confirmation that announced token actions occurred, plus enough context to assess their effect rather than treating a planned supply change as a guaranteed benefit.
Does this mark a new era in Web3 poker?
It marks a more visible attempt to connect online poker with a blockchain network and crypto-conference audiences. MTT Sports has returned to TOKEN2049-related promotion across editions, and its investor reports a functioning network alongside a platform with a measurable, company-reported user base. Yet the same investor described the project as still in promotion, with no revenue recorded from it as of June 30, 2026. The evidence supports an emerging product strategy—not a proven turning point for poker or Web3 adoption.
