As of October 8, 2026, OpenSea showed a $14,800 best offer and a $15,600 Bored Ape Yacht Club collection floor for Justin Bieber’s Bored Ape #3001. Neither figure is a confirmed sale price or a definitive appraisal; the same page listed the NFT’s last sale at $1.3 million.
What the current figures do—and don’t—say
OpenSea’s asset page showed three different price signals for Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) #3001 when accessed on October 8, 2026. They describe different things, so they should not be treated as interchangeable estimates of what Bieber could receive.
| OpenSea field | Displayed amount | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Best offer | $14,800 | The highest buyer offer displayed for #3001 at the time. It is a bid, not a completed sale or a guarantee that the owner would accept it. |
| BAYC collection floor | $15,600 | The lowest asking price shown for an item in the collection, not a price specifically offered for #3001. |
| Last sale | $1.3 million | The amount shown for the token’s last recorded sale; it is historical, not a current offer. |
Marketplace figures can change quickly. A current buyer might offer more or less, and a displayed bid or floor does not establish the amount a seller can actually realize.
Which Bored Ape is Bieber’s?
The NFT is BAYC #3001, an ERC-721 token on Ethereum. OpenSea’s page identifies the owner label as “JustinBieberNFTS.” That is the marketplace’s displayed account label; by itself, it is not independent verification of the account holder’s identity.

OpenSea also listed #3001 at rarity rank #9,769. A rarity rank compares an item’s traits with others in a collection; it is not a cash valuation. Artnet News reported that the Ape’s traits were common, a factor it considered when discussing the token’s value.
How it compares with the reported $1.3 million purchase
Artnet News reported that Bieber acquired the Ape in January 2022 for about $1.3 million. That aligns with the $1.3 million last-sale figure displayed on OpenSea, but it does not mean the NFT is worth that amount today. In 2022, Artnet used BAYC’s floor price to estimate the Ape at about $70,000, while noting its common traits. That was a historical estimate based on a collection-wide asking-price measure, not a current valuation or a sale of #3001.
Rank #2
- Officially licensed figure
- 14 points of articulation
- Real cloth costume
- Packaged on a retro style blister card
- Accessories included
A collection floor is useful context, but it is the cheapest listed item in a collection—not necessarily a close match for a particular token. A token’s traits, actual offers, and completed sales of that exact token can all matter. Here, OpenSea displayed the historical last sale, a current best offer, and the collection floor; the accessed page did not show a later completed sale for #3001.

A class-action complaint filed in December 2022 said reports placed the purchase price at approximately $1.29 million. It also alleged, on information and belief, that Bieber received the NFT as compensation for promoting BAYC. That is an allegation in a legal pleading, not a finding that the arrangement occurred. The cited complaint does not establish the payment or provenance issue as fact.
