Those articles say it monitors price action on a one-minute chart and places or adjusts pending orders around support and resistance levels. They do not independently establish that its advertised features work as described or that it makes money.
What is Pivlex?
Pivlex is presented as an automated forex trading robot, or Expert Advisor (EA), for MetaTrader 4. The available descriptions focus on gold rather than a broad, multi-market trading strategy. GeekWire’s October 9, 2024 article is labeled contributor content, and Investing.com’s August 12, 2024 article is contributor content that says its newsroom and editorial staff were not involved in its creation. GeekWire’s Pivlex description and Investing.com’s article should therefore be read as descriptions, not independent product reviews.
A December 10, 2024 FXStreet page labeled “Promoted content” and attributed to Avenix similarly presents Pivlex as an MT4 EA for gold. Its description is vendor-originated. FXStreet’s promoted article also uses AI and risk-management language, but the page does not independently verify those claims.
How is Pivlex said to work?
The articles describe a short-term, automated approach on the M1 timeframe—one candle per minute. In their account, the EA monitors gold prices for support and resistance, places pending orders near those levels, and adjusts orders as prices move. Contributor coverage calls the approach “price locking.”

- 12" POCKET SLUICE BOX WITH MINERS MOSS: A rubber riffle mat and miners moss trap heavy gold in a sluice small enough to carry anywhere. Use it to sample-test a gravel bar before hauling in big gear, clean up concentrates at home, or show kids how a sluice works.
- PATENTED SPIRAL RIFFLE GOLD PANS (US 12,582,996): Deep-walled 9" and 11" pans built like a classic prospector's pan, not a shallow dish. Aggressive riffles knock out light material fast, and the spiral riffles hold the fine flakes that flat-bottom pans wash away during finish panning.
- BLACK SAND MAGNET, SNUFFER BOTTLE & MAGNIFIER TWEEZERS: The separator magnet pulls black sand from your concentrates, the snuffer bottle vacuums gold flakes straight off the pan, and stainless magnifier tweezers let you spot and pick out flakes too small to grab by hand. Three glass gold vials hold the day's take.
- DESIGNED BY KEYESVILLE, CALIFORNIA PROSPECTORS: Sluice Fox kits are designed by prospectors who learned to pan in historic Keyesville, in California's Kern River gold country, and assembled in our own warehouses near the Sierra and Appalachian mountains. A gift that gets a family outdoors, from a brand that has been in the creek, not just a catalog.
These are reported descriptions of the intended mechanism, not confirmation of the software’s code, trading behavior, or execution under live market conditions. The reviewed material does not establish how the system identifies support and resistance, what order parameters it uses, or how its decisions change in different market conditions.
What evidence is available about performance?
The reviewed articles do not establish an audited live trading record, a reproducible backtest, an independently verified win rate, or verified returns. No performance statistic with a named original publisher and year is established in this material. Accordingly, claims about AI-driven decisions, performance reporting, or risk controls should not be treated as proof of profitability or capital protection.

Risk-management features, even if present, cannot guarantee that trades avoid losses. Gold and leveraged trading can move quickly, and automated orders can expose an account to losses as well as costs. FXStreet’s promoted page itself warns that investing carries risk and that users bear losses and costs.
What should you verify before considering an EA?
Before connecting any automated system to a trading account, seek evidence that lets you assess both how it operates and what risks it can create. For Pivlex, the available articles do not provide enough independently verified information to answer several practical questions:

No. Describing Avenix Fzco as Dubai-based does not establish that it is authorized to provide regulated forex or CFD services. The Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) Public Register covers licensed or in-principle-approved virtual-asset service providers. VARA explains that in-principle approval is not permission to operate before full licensing; its register is not a universal register of forex authorizations.
