What did Silverback Therapeutics announce?
On July 21, 2022, Silverback Therapeutics and ARS Pharmaceuticals announced a definitive all-stock merger agreement. The companies said the combined business would focus on potential approval and commercialization of neffy, then an investigational intranasal epinephrine product for Type I allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis. The announcement projected approximately $265 million in cash, cash equivalents, and marketable securities at closing. That was an estimate made when the agreement was announced, not a confirmed closing balance or a statement of the company’s finances today.
