Bunch Bikes appeared on Shark Tank Season 12, Episode 18, which aired March 26, 2021. Founder Aaron Powell struck a deal with Barbara Corcoran: $100,000 in equity plus a $150,000 line of credit for 15% of the company, according to Bunch’s announcement. The company says Robert Herjavec joined the investment after filming and split it with Corcoran. Bunch’s official storefront still lists electric cargo trikes and related support resources, although that does not establish its current revenue or financial health.
Did Bunch Bikes get a deal on Shark Tank?
Yes. In the Season 12, Episode 18 appearance, Powell agreed to Corcoran’s offer of $100,000 in equity and a $150,000 line of credit in exchange for 15% of Bunch Bikes, according to the company’s Shark Tank announcement. The episode aired March 26, 2021, according to the official episode page.
Bunch says Herjavec, who was not on the episode’s panel, became an investor several months later and split the investment with Corcoran. That account, including the timing and arrangement, comes from the company rather than an independently verified financial disclosure.
What happened after the show?
In a company-published update, Powell recalled that the Sharks questioned Bunch’s supply-chain position because it did not yet have exclusive rights from its Asian factory for other products. He also said Cuban doubted whether Bunch could bring its planned custom cargo-bike designs to market. These are Powell’s recollections, not a verified transcript of the broadcast.

Powell’s account also says Herjavec had become a customer before the episode and later approached him and Corcoran about joining the investment. Powell described Daymond John as saying he would be a customer but was uncomfortable investing in a premium product during a period when many people were struggling; Powell added that John later ordered a bike. This is the founder’s account of the exchange, not a confirmed verbatim transcript.
Is Bunch Bikes still in business?
Bunch’s official website currently lists electric cargo trikes, accessories, test rides and support information, indicating ongoing public-facing sales activity. That is not evidence of current sales volume, profitability, valuation or overall financial condition.

Search-result excerpts from 2025 investor-offering materials refer to post-COVID sales spikes, inventory commitments based on growth projections and expense reductions. The company’s storefront features the Original 4+ family cargo trike and the K9 4+ dog-focused cargo trike. At the time the product pages were checked, the Original 4+ was listed at $6,499 and the K9 at $6,599. Bunch says the Original 4+ meets UL 2271 and UL 2849, and says its frame, stability and braking-system weight ratings were independently tested to DIN 79010. These are manufacturer-listed claims, not a substitute for reviewing the applicable certification or test documentation. A rating or three-wheel configuration does not guarantee safe handling in every situation.
For a household comparing electric cargo bikes, useful points to check include passenger layout and restraints, rated capacity, motor and battery specifications, range under load, braking and stability design, safety certifications, service access, warranty and return terms, and total price.

Was Bunch Bikes recalled?
A recall covered about 150 yellow-finished Bunch Preschool electric cargo bikes sold from April 2020 through December 2022. The March 31, 2023 alert cited paint that exceeded the federal lead-paint limit. It did not cover every Bunch model.
The remedy was free replacement wood panels. Bunch’s recall page said that by fall 2023 it had replaced panels for 97% of affected owners. Owners of an affected yellow Preschool should stop using it and contact Bunch, following the instructions on the recall page.
