CNH Industrial’s May 22, 2023 collaboration with ONE SMART SPRAY brought together CNH’s agricultural equipment brands and a precision-spraying system developed by a Bosch–BASF joint venture. CNH named its Raven team to lead integration and said the system would be offered through Case IH and New Holland Agriculture. A later CNH plan put North American Green-on-Green availability in 2027; that is a planned launch, not proof the system is currently available.
What did CNH Industrial announce?
On May 22, 2023, CNH Industrial announced a collaboration agreement with ONE SMART SPRAY, a joint venture of Bosch and BASF, to integrate the company’s precision-spraying system into CNH’s agricultural product portfolio. CNH said its Raven team would lead the integration. It named Case IH and New Holland Agriculture as the brands through which the system would be commercially available. CNH’s announcement and a BASF release from the same date describe the collaboration.
How does ONE SMART SPRAY work?
In CNH’s announcement, the system uses multiple cameras mounted along a sprayer boom to detect weeds and selectively apply spray. The described detection modes include green-on-green (weeds growing among crops) and green-on-brown (weeds against soil). The companies also described mobile-accessible agronomic tools, weed maps, real-time input and cost tracking, reports, and operation in daytime or nighttime conditions. These are capabilities described by the companies, not independently verified performance findings.
When is it expected to be available?
CNH’s 2025 Tech Day material says Green-on-Green spraying with ONE SMART SPRAY was planned to launch in North America in 2027. That is a future plan, not confirmation of a completed launch. The cited material does not establish current availability, compatibility with particular sprayer models, dealer inventory, or a launch schedule for other regions. Buyers should check current CNH or dealer information for those details.

What does the herbicide-reduction claim mean?
CNH’s 2025 Tech Day material says Green-on-Green spraying with ONE SMART SPRAY could achieve up to 80% herbicide reduction. “Up to” describes a company-reported potential, not a guaranteed saving for every farm or a documented result under all field conditions. The cited material does not provide independent field-trial results establishing realized savings for ONE SMART SPRAY.
Do not confuse that figure with CNH’s separate claim of up to 60% herbicide savings, depending on weed pressure, for AIM Command FLEX II used with SenseApply. CNH’s 2025–2026 explainer attributes the 60% figure to that distinct system, not ONE SMART SPRAY.

How does this fit with CNH’s other precision-spraying technology?
CNH describes SenseApply as camera-based Green-on-Brown spot-spraying technology incorporated into parts of its Case IH, New Holland and Miller sprayer portfolio. It is a separate offering; its features and savings claims should not be transferred to ONE SMART SPRAY. In a June 2025 description, CNH presents SenseApply within its broader precision-spraying portfolio.
CNH’s July 2026 account of Moreland Farms describes use of Case IH FieldOps, AIM Command FLEX II and AccuSync, including individual-nozzle control and machine coordination. That provides context for CNH’s wider precision-agriculture work, but does not confirm ONE SMART SPRAY’s integration status or field results.
