The headline reports another Millionaire Medley millionaire in Western Australia, but the available official sources do not confirm the winner’s identity, the Wednesday draw date, ticket outlet, numbers or claim status. Lotterywest’s game details can confirm how the draw works and what Division 1 pays; they cannot establish the particulars of this reported win.
What is known about the reported Wednesday win?
The claim is that a Western Australian player became a millionaire through Millionaire Medley. The official Lotterywest announcement for this specific win was not available among the sources supporting this article, so the winner’s name, exact draw date, winning numbers, sales channel and whether the prize has been claimed remain unverified.
Lotterywest’s official Millionaire Medley results page is the appropriate place to check draw results. A result listing can help establish the numbers and division outcomes, but a separate official winner announcement is needed to substantiate details such as the ticket outlet or winner’s identity.
How Millionaire Medley works
Lotterywest lists Millionaire Medley as a Western Australian draw game held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Eight numbers are drawn from 45: the first six are winning numbers and the remaining two are supplementary numbers, according to the official game page.

Division 1 prize
Division 1 pays $1 million to each winner when there are up to six winners. If seven or more Division 1 winners share the draw, they divide a $6 million pool instead. The prize therefore depends on how many Division 1 winners there are; the headline alone does not establish the amount paid to any particular winner.
Odds
Lotterywest publishes Division 1 odds of 1 in 8,145,060 per standard game and overall odds of 1 in 86 per standard game for winning any prize. These measure different outcomes: the first is the chance of Division 1, while the second includes any prize division. Lotterywest also states that the game is chance-based and that no skill or strategy improves the likelihood of winning.
