If you are looking for the key today, go to the Commission’s answer-key page and check the final file for your class level, subject and question-paper set. The WBSSC information page now lists final answer keys for both class levels, IX-X and XI-XII.
What the 2025 suggestion window was
The 2nd State Level Selection Test (Assistant Teacher), 2025, conducted by the West Bengal Central School Service Commission (WBSSC), first published a provisional model answer key. A Scroll.in report dated September 17, 2025 said candidates could submit suggestions on that provisional key from September 20 to 25, 2025, at a fee of Rs 100 per suggestion. Those dates are historical. The window is not open, and nothing in the current official material asks candidates to act on it.
Where to find the answer key now
The Commission’s official answer-key listing at https://www.westbengalssc.com/otr/answerkey/ hosts the 2nd SLST (AT) 2025 answer-key materials. It includes subject-wise preliminary master-key downloads and the correspondence between master keys and question-paper sets. Use this page as the authoritative source for any file.
A 2025 news report described the route to the key as follows. Treat it as the access path that was reported at the time, not a guaranteed layout today:

Final keys versus provisional keys
The WBSSC current information page at https://www.wbsschelpdesk.com/info/index.html lists final answer keys for two class levels. As of this update, it shows four final-key sets for IX-X and three for XI-XII. Because the page can change, check the file itself rather than relying on the set count.
The provisional key and the final key are different documents. The provisional file is what the September 2025 suggestion window was attached to. For your current preparation, the final file for your exact paper is the one to use.
Match the class level, subject and question-paper set
The Commission publishes separate subject-level files and set-correspondence material. One answer key does not apply to every paper. Before comparing your responses, confirm three things:
- Class level: IX-X or XI-XII. The two levels have separate final-key sets.
- Subject: open the file for the subject you sat, not a neighbouring one.
- Question-paper set: use the set correspondence published by the Commission to identify which key matches the set printed on your paper.
If the set letter or number on your question paper does not match the key you opened, stop and find the correct correspondence before using the key. Mixing sets is the most common reason a key appears to disagree with a candidate’s own answers.
What is not established here
The exact filing requirements for any objection, the portal fields, any refund rules and whether expert review is final are not confirmed from an opened official notice in the sources reviewed for this update. Do not rely on any third-party description of these details. Check the Commission’s answer-key page directly for any current notice.
A key also cannot predict a score on its own. It shows the expected answer for each question; marks, normalisation and selection outcomes depend on Commission notices that sit outside the key file.
