These are database estimates, not salaries confirmed by the club. For 2026/27, salary databases name different players as the leader, so there is no definitive answer from the available estimates.

Who is Watford’s highest-paid player in 2026/27?
The available estimates do not agree, and their salary definitions are not established as equivalent. SalaryLeaks names Imrân Louza at an estimated £1.6 million annual base salary; Salary Sport lists Stephy Mavididi at an estimated £38,000 per week; and Capology identifies Edoardo Bove at an estimated £30,000 per week in gross fixed salary. Capology says its figure excludes bonuses, image rights, commercial deals and other benefits. None of these figures is confirmed by Watford, so the databases do not establish a single 2026/27 leader.
| Source | Player named | Reported estimate and definition |
|---|---|---|
| SalaryLeaks | Imrân Louza | £1.6 million annual base salary estimate |
| Salary Sport | Stephy Mavididi | £38,000 per week; salary definition not stated in the available information |
| Capology | Edoardo Bove | £30,000 per week estimated gross fixed salary; excludes bonuses, image rights, commercial deals and other benefits |
The amounts above come from the respective databases’ 2026/27 listings accessed in 2026. They are not directly comparable: the sources identify different players, and at least one explicitly describes a base or fixed-pay measure rather than total compensation. 2026/27 salary database estimates
