The full current price-and-trim matrix for every model and market is not established here. For a U.S. purchase, use the current local configurator or request a dealer quote; VinFast says customers can configure online and have a U.S. dealership fulfill the preferred configuration. Confirm the final price and warranty terms for the actual vehicle and purchase date with the dealer.
Prices for other countries should be checked locally rather than converted from the U.S. figures. For example, VinFast’s 2026 GIIAS announcement describes customer programs in Indonesia; those terms do not establish an offer in the United States or elsewhere.

In a March 3, 2026 portfolio announcement, VinFast grouped its vehicles into three lines: VF for passenger EVs, Green for commercial and service mobility, and Lac Hong for ultra-luxury vehicles. The names below describe the manufacturer’s portfolio, not a guarantee that every model is currently on sale in every country.

What is the difference between the VF 8 and VF 9?
In VinFast’s U.S. materials, the VF 8 is described as a midsize SUV and the VF 9 as a full-size model. The U.S. homepage’s advertised starting prices differ by $23,000, but that comparison is between starting prices—not like-for-like trims or final purchase costs.

What features and range figures are listed?
Connectivity and driver assistance
VinFast’s U.S. FAQ lists Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Alexa assistance, and in-car entertainment among its connectivity features. These are manufacturer-listed capabilities, not independent test findings; availability can vary by model, trim, market, and software version. The VF 6 and VF 7 specification sheets also caution that some advanced driver-assistance features may be delayed or subscription-based.
VF 7 Plus battery and range
VinFast’s VF 7 specification sheet lists a 75.3 kWh usable battery and a targeted range of 431 km (268 miles) for the VF 7 Plus on the WLTP cycle. VinFast says projected WLTP ranges are targets subject to change. This figure is not a U.S. EPA rating or a promise of real-world driving range, and it should not be compared directly with an EPA figure as if both used the same test cycle.

When comparing range, check the vehicle’s market-specific rating and test cycle, trim, and specification sheet. A model name alone is not enough to establish the range or equipment of a particular vehicle.

VinFast’s U.S. FAQ, accessed October 8, 2026, states that new U.S. VF 8 and VF 9 vehicles have a 10-year/125,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty and a 10-year unlimited-mile battery warranty under standard use. VinFast says warranty terms may vary by model and can change. Check the warranty booklet and applicable conditions for the specific vehicle; these U.S. terms should not be applied to other models or markets without confirmation.

Can you charge a VinFast at home?
Home charging is a relevant ownership question, but the available manufacturer material does not establish a single charger, connector, charge rate, or installation setup that applies to every VinFast model and market. Before buying equipment or arranging installation, confirm the vehicle’s model year and market, its connector, the electrical circuit requirements, and VinFast’s guidance for that vehicle. A qualified installer can assess the home’s electrical supply and installation needs.
VinFast describes its U.S. app as a hub for maintenance and charging, with trip planning, remote charging management, and in-app payment. Charging access and programs are market-specific: VinFast’s 2026 Indonesia announcement refers to complimentary charging through the local V-GREEN network as part of programs there, not as a general U.S. offer.
What should you check before choosing a VinFast?
Because the range and ownership terms vary by market, compare the specific vehicle and purchase offer rather than relying on a global model list. Check:
