The fund is intended to invest in gaming and consumer businesses around the world, supporting companies from early stages through growth. What is Vgames Fund III?
Fund III is Vgames’ third investment fund, focused on gaming and consumer businesses. The firm describes itself as a venture fund for consumer and game entrepreneurs, with support spanning company inception to growth. It says that support can include lifecycle capital and non-dilutive financing—funding that does not require issuing equity.
The $142 million figure is the announced fund size, not a disclosure that all of the money was immediately available to invest. Those are the fund’s stated selection criteria, not independent evidence that its investments will outperform. The announcement does not specify how much of Fund III is reserved for particular platforms, genres, regions, or stages, nor does it publish an allocation schedule.
What is known about Vgames’ portfolio?
At the time of the December 2024 announcement, GamesBeat and PocketGamer.biz reported that Vgames had invested in 38 companies globally since launching in March 2020. That is a reported portfolio count, not an audited performance measure or a current count for 2026. Coverage named InnPlay Labs, SuperPlay, 1047 Games, and Candivore as examples of investments; these are illustrative, not a complete portfolio list.

Contemporaneous Calcalist CTech coverage described Vgames’ historical financing activity as involving both equity and debt. That context should not be confused with Fund III’s $142 million announced size.
Who leads the fund?
Coverage identifies Eitan Reisel as Vgames’ founder and managing partner and Daniel Mironov as a partner. GamesBeat quoted Reisel on the third fund: “The third fund super exciting, as this was only an idea five years ago,”

Does the $142 million raise show how successful the fund is?
No. The amount raised establishes the fund’s announced size, not its investment returns. The sources cited do not provide audited Fund III performance or third-party return data, and the portfolio count does not show whether investments have generated gains. Fund size alone also cannot establish comparative quality: a meaningful comparison with another fund would require factors such as vintage, mandate, stage, financing type, and a clearly disclosed performance methodology.
