Who organized VCsforKamala?
Leslie Feinzaig, a Seattle-based investor and founder of Graham & Walker, created the pledge initiative the week before the fundraiser. GeekWire reported that Feinzaig launched it in response to prominent technology entrepreneurs publicly supporting Donald Trump, seeking to give voice to investors who felt that the loudest public commentary did not represent them. What did speakers say about business, innovation and regulation?
GeekWire reported that speakers connected political stability with the environment in which companies operate. Hoffman argued that a stable, unifying force mattered more than narrower concerns about policy details, then described Harris as “the business candidate.” Those remarks reflect his argument on the call, not an independent assessment of the campaign’s economic effects.

How did the call fit the 2024 fundraising trend?
GeekWire placed the VCsforKamala event within a broader run of Zoom-based political fundraising calls in the weeks before the 2024 election. Its report cited a White Dudes for Harris call that raised more than $4 million.
