Which UPSSSC Forest Guard result does “2024 result” mean?
This result belongs to the recruitment advertised as Advertisement 05-Exam/2019, not necessarily to a new 2024 recruitment cycle. The recruitment had several result stages during 2024, so check the stage named in the notice before interpreting a roll-number match.
- March 2024: An interim physical-test result listed 1,402 candidates for the subsequent record-verification stage, according to Hindustan Times.
- June 2024: An interim result shortlisted 2,950 candidates for document verification; verification was scheduled to begin on 11 July, according to Scroll.in.
- 29 August 2024: Jagran Josh reported the final selection result for the Forest Guard and Wildlife Guard posts in this recruitment. Its reported figures are 647 selections against 655 posts.
The March and June figures describe earlier steps, not the final selection list. The final-result figures and release date were reported by Jagran Josh.
How to check the result PDF
- Go to the official UPSSSC website: upsssc.gov.in.
- Open the Notice Board and look for the Forest Guard and Wildlife Guard final-result notice for Advertisement 05-Exam/2019.
- Open the PDF linked from that notice. On a desktop, press Ctrl+F (or use the PDF viewer’s search function) and enter your roll number.
- Check the notice heading and advertisement number to ensure you are viewing the final selection result, not the March physical-test follow-on list or June document-verification shortlist.
These navigation steps were described in 2024 reporting; the current live commission page has not been independently confirmed. If you cannot find the notice, use UPSSSC’s official site rather than relying on an unverified third-party result link.

Jagran Josh dates the reported final result to 29 August 2024. Separately, an indexed third-party PDF copy shows an UPSSSC notice dated 10 October 2024, numbered 261/Gopan/01/02/2023/2024, concerning final-result category cutoffs: Sarkari Result PDF index. The available information does not establish whether that is a later notice, a separate result-related document, or a replacement for the August-reported result. Confirm any applicable notice on the official commission site; do not assume the October document supersedes the August report.
