Can you still fill out the 2024 DAF?
No. As of October 8, 2026, the official UPSC DAF listing says “No DAF Available.” The legacy UPSC portal says it is only for previewing application forms filled or submitted on or before March 25, 2025, and points users to the current portal for future examinations. UPSC’s main site also directs applicants to its new application portal: UPSC official website.
What happened during the 2024 recruitment process?
Scroll reported that the recruitment test took place on July 7, 2024, and that results were released on August 8, 2024. It reported 1,376 shortlisted candidates and 323 targeted vacancies. These are figures reported by Scroll; the underlying UPSC DAF notice was not available to independently verify them.
