The UPPSC Scientific Officer Screening Exam covered by the 2025 admit-card announcement was scheduled for May 18, 2025, and that date has passed. Scroll reported on May 9, 2025, that candidates could download their cards through the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) website. Treat the download directions below as historical instructions, not confirmation that the old admit card is still available.
What the May 2025 announcement covered
The announcement concerned applicants for the Scientific Officer post and the UPPSC Scientific Officer Screening Exam 2025. Scroll published its report on May 9, 2025, and gave May 18, 2025, as the exam date. Scroll’s report is the event-specific source for those details; the original UPPSC notice was not available among the sources reviewed.

Scroll reported that 41 posts were to be filled in the Scientific Officer category. That figure is attributable to Scroll’s 2025 report; the current UPPSC homepage does not independently confirm the past vacancy count. UPPSC’s current website provides candidate services and examination information, but its visible notices do not verify this historical release.
How the admit-card download was described in 2025
Scroll said candidates could access the card through the UPPSC website. Its historical instructions were:
#1 Best Overall
- Open the UPPSC website and go to the Recruitment Dashboard.
- Select the admit-card option for the Scientific Officer post.
- Enter the registration number, date of birth, gender and verification code requested on the page.
- Download the admit card and save or print it.
These steps describe the process reported in May 2025. The live UPPSC site currently points candidates to its dashboard for application and examination information and includes candidate help functions such as admit-card download, but that does not establish that the 2025 Scientific Officer card remains downloadable. For any current recruitment, start from the official site and follow the dashboard links rather than relying on an old direct link.

Scroll advised candidates to reach the examination centre at least 90 minutes before the exam began and reported that entry would close 45 minutes before the start. Because the event-specific UPPSC notice was not available in the sources reviewed, these timings should be understood as details reported by Scroll for the 2025 exam—not as verified rules for another exam or a current UPPSC recruitment.
