When was the UPPSC RO/ARO 2023 admit card released?
Contemporary reports said the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) released the preliminary admit card on February 2, 2024. The recruitment covered 411 posts—334 Review Officer and 77 Assistant Review Officer positions—and Hindustan Times reported 10,69,725 applicants. Hindustan Times reported the release and recruitment figures in 2024.
How candidates accessed the card in February 2024
Reports at the time described candidates visiting the UPPSC website, opening the RO/ARO admit-card link, entering login details, then viewing and downloading the card. One report described using an OTR (one-time registration) number; another listed OTR number, date of birth and gender. These were the reported steps for the February 2024 release, not confirmation that the old link or those fields are available on the current portal.
- Visit the UPPSC website and locate the RO/ARO recruitment-2023 admit-card link.
- Enter the login details requested on that release page. Contemporary reports referred to OTR details, with one also naming date of birth and gender.
- View and download the admit card, then retain a hard copy. Hindustan Times’ February 2024 download explainer advised candidates to keep a printed copy.

Hindustan Times reported that UPPSC Controller of Examinations Ajay Kumar Tiwari advised candidates to download the admit card and instructions using their OTR numbers, and to attend their designated centre with two photographs, original identification and a photocopy of that identification. The historical release reports do not establish whether the 2024 download link remains live, nor do they confirm current login requirements or an individual candidate’s status. Check UPPSC’s current notices for candidate-specific or updated instructions rather than relying on a legacy link.
Later reporting reinforces the date distinction: Careers360 reported on January 11, 2026, that UPPSC revised the recruitment-2023 mains exam dates to February 2 and 3, 2026, and said the prelims had been held July 27, with 7,509 candidates qualifying.
