What happened to the expected notification?
The 2024 recruitment was for Assistant Registrar in the Uttar Pradesh University (Centralised) Service. UPPSC published Advertisement A-5/E-1/2024 on 28 August 2024. An earlier announcement had described the notification as expected in August, but that forecast is now historical.
The advertisement was dated 28 August 2024. Online applications opened that day, and the last date for fee payment and online submission was 28 September 2024. Fee reconciliation and application correction or modification were allowed through 5 October 2024. These dates have passed, so the 2024 recruitment should not be treated as open.
The notification text is available in a copy hosted on a third-party document domain. For any later corrigendum, schedule, result or status, consult the official UPPSC portal.

Vacancies, category allocation and pay
The notice advertised 38 posts under Uttar Pradesh’s Higher Education Department and said the count could increase or decrease according to requirements.

Who was eligible?

The notice required an experience certificate issued by the employer. These are the requirements described in the 2024 advertisement; candidates should consult any official later notice for changes or clarifications.
How was selection to work?
The notified process was a written examination followed by an interview for candidates declared successful in the written examination. UPPSC said final selection would be based on aggregate marks from the written examination and interview. The date and venue were to be communicated through e-admit cards.

How to check for later updates
The reviewed official portal material does not establish the latest stage or result of this particular examination. Do not infer that the exam is pending, completed or that a result has been declared without checking an official update.
- Open the UPPSC website and review its notices for a corrigendum, examination schedule, admit-card information or result relating to Advertisement A-5/E-1/2024.
- For application, examination and interview information, use the candidate dashboard. UPPSC describes One Time Registration (OTR) as the applicant’s registration number and directs candidates to the dashboard for these details.
- Match any notice to the advertisement number, A-5/E-1/2024, before relying on it.
The 2024 notice required OTR before applying online. That instruction is relevant to the expired application process; it does not mean applications remain open.
