What was the last date to apply for UPGET 2025? Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU) extended the deadline to May 29, 2025, replacing the May 14 date stated in the original headline. The application window for the 2025–2026 session has closed; this is not a current-cycle registration notice.
What changed about the UPGET 2025 deadline?
ABVMU’s official UPGET page stated that the last date to fill the application form had been extended to May 29, 2025. The page labels the cycle for the 2025–2026 academic session. As of October 8, 2026, that deadline has passed.
The notice covered admission to GNM colleges in Uttar Pradesh: government colleges under the Directorate General (Training), Medical Health and Family Welfare, Uttar Pradesh, as well as private institutions affiliated with the Uttar Pradesh State Medical Faculty.
What is UPGET?
UPGET stands for the UP GNM Entrance Test. ABVMU’s official page and UPGET 2025 application portal describe GNM as a three-year nursing course. The notice concerns entrance-test registration for that course, not a currently open application period.

What should applicants know about the form?
The 2025 portal warned that corrections or updates to a submitted registration/application form would not be permitted. Anyone completing a future application should carefully verify the entered details before submitting, and rely on the notice for that specific cycle.

For any later UPGET cycle, check ABVMU’s official UPGET page for the current notice and its linked information brochure. The 2025 notice does not establish the status or deadlines of a later cycle. It also does not establish eligibility criteria, fees, required documents, examination date, or exam format; consult the current brochure or notice rather than carrying those details over from 2025.
