The Union Bank of India Specialist Officer (SO) online examination was scheduled for June 22, 2025, and a Times of India Education report said the admit card was released on June 12. That examination has passed: Union Bank issued a final-result notice on September 26, 2025, confirming the recruitment had advanced through the exam, document verification and interview. The June 2025 call letter is therefore a historical update, not a current exam notice.
Union Bank SO admit card 2025: release report and exam date
Union Bank’s May 27, 2025 examination schedule described June 22 as the tentative date for the online examination and said the call-letter link would be posted on the bank’s website shortly. The release date of June 12 was reported by Times of India Education; the official schedule notice did not itself state that date.
The exam was for the 2025-26 Specialist Officer recruitment, advertised in the bank’s April 30, 2025 notification. The recruitment offered 250 Assistant Manager (Credit) vacancies and 250 Assistant Manager (IT) vacancies, for 500 total, according to the official recruitment notification.
Where Union Bank listed the call letter
The bank’s Careers and Recruitment page lists the archived “Union Bank Recruitment Project 2025-26 (Specialist Officers)” section and its “Click Here to download the Call Letter for Online Examination” resource, alongside information handouts and scribe guidelines. The page is the official source for the old resource; current access to an individual candidate’s call letter is not established.

For candidates who received a call letter at the time, the notification required them to bring it and photo identity proof bearing the same name as the call letter or application. It also said candidates arriving after the reporting time stated on their call letter would not be admitted. Venue and reporting time were specific to each candidate’s issued letter.
What the online examination contained
The official notification set out a 150-minute test with 150 questions and 225 marks. Its common aptitude and language sections totaled 75 questions and 75 marks; Professional Knowledge relevant to the post accounted for the other 75 questions and 150 marks.

The notification said tests other than English would be available in English and Hindi, and reserved the bank’s right to change the test structure through a notice on its website. It specified a deduction of one-fourth of the marks assigned to a question for each wrong answer; unanswered questions incurred no penalty. Professional Knowledge was role-specific, so the relevant content differed between Assistant Manager (Credit) and Assistant Manager (IT).

- September 26, 2025: Union Bank published its final-result notice, stating that the process included the online exam, document verification and personal interview. It gave October 15, 2025 as the tentative joining date for selected candidates.
The final-result notice confirms this recruitment cycle moved beyond the examination stage; it does not make the June call letter or exam date current. Candidates seeking historical notices should use the bank’s official recruitment page rather than an unverified third-party login page.
