NTA announced the UGC-NET December 2024 admit card on 28 December 2024. The official route given in the notice was ugcnet.nta.ac.in; candidates needed their application number and date of birth, along with the undertaking, to download it. The exams were scheduled for 3–16 January 2025, so this is an archived announcement—not a new release, and the available sources do not confirm that the old admit-card login remains accessible today.
Official UGC-NET December 2024 admit card download route
NTA directed candidates to visit the official UGC-NET website and use their application number and date of birth, along with the undertaking, to download the card. The 28 December 2024 notice did not provide a permanent, individual login URL, so the official portal—not an unverified third-party link—is the appropriate route.
NTA’s notice listed 011-40759000 and [email protected] for candidates who could not download the card or found a discrepancy. Because the exam cycle has passed and the portal now presents later-cycle material, these details describe the original cycle; continued access to the historic download page is not established.
Release date, exam window and the city-slip distinction
The NTA release notice dated 28 December 2024 announced admit cards for the computer-based UGC-NET examination covering 85 subjects, scheduled in cities across India from 3 to 16 January 2025. The release notice is the relevant schedule for this announcement: the earlier information bulletin had initially listed 1–19 January 2025, and the later notice gave the revised window of 3–16 January.
The advance city-intimation slip, available from 24 December 2024, was not an admit card. It provided advance information about the city where a candidate’s examination centre would be located; NTA said the admit card would follow separately. The card release was announced four days later.
What candidates were told to check on the card
The December 2024 bulletin described the admit card as provisional, subject to eligibility, and said it would not be sent by post. Candidates were instructed to verify the examination date, shift, time and discipline and to read the card’s directions. If the card could not be downloaded or personal details, photograph or signature appeared incorrect, the bulletin advised contacting NTA’s helpline during 09:30–17:30.
