UBL offers car financing through UBL Drive, but its current product page does not confirm a live Suzuki Swift-specific installment promotion. A May 2025 report described a Swift offer, but its prices and monthly payments are historical—not a current quote. For today’s terms, confirm the Swift’s price and availability with Pak Suzuki or a dealer, then request an individualized written quotation from UBL.
What UBL Drive currently publishes
UBL Drive covers locally assembled or manufactured new and used cars. UBL says it may finance up to 70% of a vehicle’s value, with financing from PKR 250,000 to PKR 3 million. The actual approved amount and required upfront contribution depend on the application and vehicle; the published maximum is not a promise that a particular Swift will qualify for that amount. Rates and tenure
The UBL Drive page displays floating rates of 1YK + 3.5% for existing customers and 1YK + 4.0% for new-to-bank customers. Its displayed fixed rates are 16.5% and 17.0%, respectively. UBL also states that cases involving a deviation carry an additional 0.50%. These are the rates displayed on the product page accessed October 8, 2026; ask UBL to confirm the rate that applies to your application, what benchmark and calculation method it uses, and how long the offer remains valid.
UBL lists a one-to-five-year tenure for vehicles up to 1,000 cc and one-to-three years for vehicles above 1,000 cc. Confirm which limit applies to the chosen Swift variant and financing structure.

Residual-value option
UBL says its residual-value option can defer a lump sum of up to 50% until the end of the financing tenure, reducing regular installments. That final payment is part of the plan’s cash flow, not a discount. Ask for the exact residual amount and how it is handled in the agreement before comparing its monthly payment with a standard plan.
What the reported Swift offer said—and what it does not establish
ProPakistani reported on May 3, 2025, that UBL had an offer covering the Swift GL Manual, GL CVT, and GLX CVT. The report listed vehicle prices of PKR 4,336,000, PKR 4,560,000, and PKR 4,719,000, respectively, and described a 14.5% fixed rate. It said the installment calculations used a 50% residual value and excluded insurance; it also warned that vehicle prices could change. Those are reported 2025 figures, not verified current prices, terms, or availability. The report is available at ProPakistani.

UBL’s current product page presents general car-financing terms and does not confirm that Swift promotion. Do not use the older figures as a present-day monthly-payment estimate.
Check eligibility and documents before applying
UBL lists Pakistani CNIC holders as applicants. Its published minimums are PKR 35,000 gross monthly salary for salaried applicants and PKR 50,000 gross monthly income for self-employed applicants. The listed age ranges are 21–60 for salaried applicants and 21–70 for self-employed applicants. UBL also lists supporting salary or business documents and bank statements. These are published criteria, not an approval guarantee; confirm the current requirements directly with the bank.

Include fees and insurance in the comparison
UBL’s Schedule of Charges for January–June 2026 lists a PKR 14,000 UBL Drive processing charge after approval and a PKR 1,500 charge per late installment per month. It lists insurance at the amount quoted by the insurer and says early-termination charges vary by financing year. Vendor charges may change; confirm the applicable schedule, any taxes, and early-settlement terms with UBL. The schedule names UBL Insurance, Adamjee, EFU, TPL, and Premier Insurance, but naming insurers does not establish a premium or the coverage you will receive.
Ask whether insurance is included in the quoted installment. Get the premium, coverage details, and any fees or taxes in writing so the comparison reflects the full cost rather than the monthly payment alone. UBL’s applicable charges are in its Schedule of Charges January–June 2026.

How to get a useful current quote
- Confirm the vehicle details. Check the selected Swift variant’s current price and availability with Pak Suzuki or a dealer. The Pak Suzuki website provides a purchase/installment calculator with equity or security-deposit and tenure inputs, plus booking and dealer links. Treat its result as a manufacturer-side estimate, not UBL’s loan approval or final quote.
- Request a written UBL quotation. Ask UBL to state the down payment, financed principal, fixed or floating rate, applicable benchmark and calculation method, tenure, and regular installment.
- For a residual-value plan, get the final payment in writing. Request the exact balloon amount and how it is due at the end of the tenure.
- Ask for the complete cost breakdown. Confirm insurance premium and coverage, processing and other fees, taxes, late charges, early-settlement conditions, and whether each amount is included in the installment or payable separately.
- Check the quote’s expiry and assumptions. Confirm the offer validity date and whether the vehicle price, variant availability, or financing terms can change before delivery.
Compare plans using the upfront contribution, amount financed, pricing type, tenure, monthly installments, final residual payment, insurance, fees, taxes, early-settlement terms, and total amount payable. A lower monthly installment can simply mean that more is due at the end.
