Ubisoft did not rename all of Ubisoft+. On January 15, 2024, it renamed its PC Access and Multi-Access plans to Ubisoft+ Premium and launched a separate PC offer, Ubisoft+ Classics. As of October 8, 2026, Ubisoft’s US Store listed Premium at $17.99 per month and Classics at $7.99 per month; prices and benefits vary by market and purchase channel.
What changed in January 2024?
Ubisoft announced that Ubisoft+ PC Access and Multi-Access would become Ubisoft+ Premium. It also introduced Ubisoft+ Classics on PC, a distinct subscription offer built around a curated selection of catalog and live games. Classics was not a replacement name for Premium, and Ubisoft+ as a whole was not renamed. Ubisoft’s announcement described the plan changes on January 15, 2024.
At the time, Ubisoft said existing PC subscribers would keep their plan with the same monthly price they were then paying. That was a statement about the transition in 2024, not a guarantee of present-day pricing for legacy subscribers.

What the change means for subscribers
If you had PC Access or Multi-Access during the 2024 transition, Ubisoft’s announcement described the new Premium name and said PC subscribers would keep their plan and then-current monthly price. That historical assurance should not be read as a current price lock. Check your account and local Store for the plan, price, and platform access currently attached to your subscription.

- Cast, hook, and rebels! choose your tackle and hone your skills in three different modes in this arcade-style fishing game
- Challenge yourself with Career mode, featuring 80 missions to take you from Casual angler to legendary fisher
- Perfect your techniques to unlock 10 different venues with varied fish in four seasons and different weather conditions
- Play with up to four friends or family and challenge them into catching different types of fish
- Nintendo Switch system: use motion controls with the Joy-Con Controllers to cast (classic controls also available)
Which plan makes sense depends on what you want to play. Premium costs more in the US Store listing but includes the stated day-one and early-access offer when available, alongside broader platform access. Classics is the lower-priced listed option for a changing PC catalog of standard editions. Neither catalog description means every Ubisoft game is included.
Price, cancellation, and access qualifications
The $17.99 and $7.99 amounts are US Store monthly prices checked October 8, 2026—not worldwide prices or a guarantee of future rates. Ubisoft says availability and benefits differ by country, plan, platform, and seller. A subscription purchased through a third party may not have the same terms or features as one purchased directly. Ubisoft’s subscription terms state that direct subscriptions renew monthly unless cancelled. Cancelling during a paid period leaves access through the end of that period; subscription access to games and services ends when the paid period ends, unless you separately own a game.

In Ubisoft’s January 15, 2024 interview, Philippe Tremblay, then identified as the company’s Director of Subscription, said players had logged over 600 million hours since launch and that one in 10 subscribers had never played a Ubisoft game before. These are company-reported figures from that date, not independent measurements or current totals. Tremblay also described “millions of players since launch” without giving a more precise figure.
