Is March of Giants still being developed?
Yes. Ubisoft said the Montreal developers would join its team to continue work on March of Giants. The announcement named Xavier Marquis as Creative Director and Alex Parizeau as Senior Production lead. Ubisoft described Marquis as the original Creative Director behind Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, and Parizeau as a former Managing Director of Ubisoft Toronto.

March of Giants is a free-to-play, 4v4 tactical multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) set on a ravaged urban battlefield inspired by early-1900s technology. Players control giant combatants in lane-based fights, command smaller soldier battalions, and deploy structures called Battleworks. Ubisoft presents it as a mix of MOBA combat, real-time strategy, and team coordination.
Giants, soldiers, and Battleworks
Each player takes the role of a giant with unique abilities. Soldier battalions can be directed to scout, attack, capture objectives, gather resources, or receive enhancements, according to the official game site. Battleworks include trenches, tanks, turrets, and bunkers, letting teams shape defenses and engagements. Ubisoft’s description of the game’s mechanics and setting is in its announcement.
