There is no verified April 2026 TurboTax Full Service coupon to use now. The regular federal deadline for most U.S. taxpayers filing a 2025 return was April 15, 2026, and TurboTax’s published 2026 Expert Full Service offer ended March 31, 2026. As checked on August 10, 2026, TurboTax still listed a referral-based route that can give an eligible new customer 20% off a personal federal return—but it requires a unique referral link and is not a public coupon code.

TurboTax’s referral page describes a 20% discount on the preparation and filing of a personal federal return through TurboTax Online, TurboTax Expert Assist, or TurboTax Expert Full Service.

This is not a universal “TurboTax coupon code.” Do not assume eligibility because a referral link is available, and do not expect to combine the 20% referral discount with another promotion. TurboTax says it applies the best applicable offer or discount to the cart.

How to check the offer safely
- Start from an official TurboTax referral flow and open the unique referral link before beginning payment.
- Select the service that fits your needs. If you want an expert to prepare the return for you, choose Expert Full Service rather than assuming all TurboTax products include that service.
- Enter your actual tax situation and upload the requested documents.
- Before printing or e-filing, review the cart and final price. Confirm that the referral discount appears and that it applies to the federal return/service you selected.
- If the discount does not appear, do not rely on an old coupon page or a code from a third-party site. Check the current official terms and checkout instead.
Offer dates deserve extra care. TurboTax’s official pages have presented conflicting end dates for the referral program: one describes qualifying invitations as available from October 8, 2025 through October 31, 2026, while another summary says the referral offer expires October 15, 2026. That conflict is why checkout confirmation matters more than treating either date as guaranteed.
What “Expert Full Service” means
TurboTax Expert Full Service is an online tax-preparation service, not a physical boxed software product. You upload your documents, TurboTax matches you with an expert, and you meet with that expert while the return is prepared. The expert signs the return as the preparer.
That distinction matters when comparing offers. A TurboTax Desktop deal, tax book, scanner, or filing supply does not redeem a Full Service discount. Likewise, a discount advertised for another TurboTax product should not be treated as a Full Service offer unless the official terms say it applies.

The April offers are historical, not current
Two promotions can cause particular confusion in search results:
- The “$100 back” Full Service promotion applied only to returns filed April 5–15, 2024. Its April 15, 2024 deadline has passed.
- The listed 2026 Full Service offer had a filing deadline of March 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET. It is expired as of August 10, 2026.
The expired 2026 Full Service terms applied to customers who had not filed with TurboTax Live Full Service for tax year 2024. They also excluded S-corporation, partnership, multi-member LLC, TurboTax Canada, add-ons, and other services. Those conditions explain why an old promotion should not be reused as a current deal or treated as a blanket price reduction.
Do not estimate your final Full Service price from an advertised starting price
TurboTax says Expert Full Service pricing is forms-based. Its “starting at” price represents one federal return with one W-2 and one Form 1040. Your final price can change according to your tax situation, forms, and schedules; TurboTax determines it at print or e-file, and pricing may change without notice.

So a 20% offer, when you qualify and see it applied, is a percentage reduction—not a promised dollar amount. The only reliable savings figure is the one shown in your own live cart after your return’s details are reflected.

If you missed the April filing deadline
For most individual U.S. calendar-year filers, the 2025-return filing and payment deadline was April 15, 2026. If you needed more time to complete the return, an extension could provide more time to file; it did not provide more time to pay. A balance due should be addressed promptly, even if the return is filed later.
Deadline rules can differ for taxpayers affected by disaster relief, living abroad, serving in certain military situations, or having a different tax year. Check the IRS guidance applicable to your own circumstances rather than assuming the standard date controls.

No. An extension generally gives additional time to file, not additional time to pay. If you owed tax for 2025, address payment promptly even if you file after the regular April 15, 2026 deadline.
