When did applications close?
The notification initially set the deadline at 5:00 p.m. on 14 March 2024. Scroll reported on 15 March 2024 that TSPSC extended the deadline to 16 March 2024. That final reported date has passed, so the 2024 form is not a current way to apply.
Does One Time Registration count as an application?
No. The notice explicitly stated: “One Time Registration (OTR) is not considered as an application for any post under any circumstances.” Candidates had to submit a separate online application for Notification No. 02/2024. Applicants from the cancelled 2022 Group-I notification also had to reapply; the 2024 notice said they did not need to pay the fee again if they had already paid it.

Use the TGPSC notifications index and the commission’s current recruitment listings to check for a new Group-I notice. The listings surfaced 2026 recruitment schedules alongside the 2024 Group-I notice, but did not show an open application period for this 563-post cycle. That listing check is not an official closure notice; the 2024 deadline and its reported extension establish that this cycle’s application window is over.
For any future opening, rely on its own notification rather than reusing details from 2024. Verify the notification number and date, eligibility and vacancy details, fee rules, deadline, and exam format before submitting a form. Scroll reported the 2024 fee as ₹200 processing fee plus ₹120 examination fee, with unemployed candidates exempt; treat those as details reported for that cycle, not current fee guidance.
