TS-SET 2024 application and exam dates
The Office of the TS-SET at Osmania University issued its 2024 notification on May 4, 2024. Online applications opened May 14. The notification listed several deadlines depending on whether a late fee applied:

These are historical dates, not an open application opportunity. The dates are from the official TS-SET 2024 notification.
What the official site lists for the latest cycle
As of October 8, 2026, the official site identifies TG-SET 2026 as its latest published cycle. Its dates page lists applications without a late fee from August 3 through September 5, 2026, followed by late-fee periods ending September 12. The exam was scheduled for September 28–30, 2026. Those dates had passed by October 8, 2026; the site does not show an open 2024 application window.

For any future cycle or extension, use the dates and notification published for that cycle on the official TG-SET website. Do not treat an old application link or headline as confirmation that registration is open.
Eligibility and fees shown for TG-SET 2026
The following terms are specific to the 2026 cycle and should not be assumed to apply to a later notification:

- General, Unreserved and General-EWS candidates needed at least 55% in a master’s degree or equivalent. The specified BC, SC, ST and PwD categories needed at least 50%.
- Some candidates awaiting final master’s results could apply provisionally, subject to completing the degree and meeting the required marks within the stated period.
- The eligibility page stated there was no age limit.
- The listed fees were ₹2,000 for General (UR), ₹1,500 for BC/EWS, and ₹1,000 for SC groups, ST, PwD and transgender candidates. The authority described payment by UPI, credit or debit card, or net banking, and said fees were non-refundable.
Check the official 2026 eligibility and fee details rather than relying on these figures for another cycle.
How the 2026 examination was structured
The 2026 scheme described a single three-hour session with two compulsory objective papers. Candidates had to appear in both:

The scheme described qualification on a 6% total-slot basis with category allocations, alongside minimum aggregate marks of 40% for General/Unreserved candidates and 35% for the listed reserved categories. Meeting a minimum percentage alone did not guarantee qualification; subject and category slots and the full official method also mattered.
