No. Applications for Telangana’s 2024 District Selection Committee teacher recruitment (TS DSC-2024) are closed. The last date to submit an application online was 3 April 2024; the written test and results are also historical milestones. The Telangana State Portal reported results on 30 September 2024, so the old “deadline soon” headline is not current application advice.
What was the TS DSC-2024 application deadline?
The Commissioner, School Education, Telangana’s 2024 recruitment bulletin set 2 April 2024 as the fee-payment deadline and 3 April 2024 as the deadline for online application submission. The bulletin stated: “The last date for payment of fee is 02.04.2024 and last date for submission of application through online is upto 03.04.2024.” These dates applied to Notification 24/RC-1/TRT/DSC/2024; they have passed.
There is no current TS DSC-2024 application window. The 11,062-post figure belongs to that completed recruitment, not a presently open application round.
What happened after applications closed?
The written test took place from 18 July through 5 August 2024, according to proceedings of the Director of School Education, Telangana. The Telangana State Portal reported that results were released on 30 September 2024.
In its results release, the Telangana State Portal reported 2,79,838 applications and 2,46,584 candidates who appeared for the written test (88.11%). These are figures for the 2024 recruitment, not a new cycle.
Which posts were included in the 11,062 vacancies?
The Telangana State Portal’s 2024 results release reported the following post distribution:

The 2024 dates and results do not establish a deadline or vacancy count for a later cycle. Before acting on any new date, eligibility condition, or vacancy figure, check current notices from the Telangana School Education Department. Do not use the 3 April 2024 deadline or the 11,062 vacancies as information for a future recruitment.
