ET Net estimated net proceeds of approximately HK$3.118 billion at the HK$37.05 midpoint of the range. That was a midpoint-based estimate, not a final proceeds announcement.
The cutoff for this account is 12:26 p.m. Hong Kong time on October 13. An HKEX search result later showed an offer-price notice timestamped 1:09 p.m. that day, after the cutoff. It cannot establish what was confirmed at the earlier time. The reported expectation was that trading would begin on October 15, 2026.

What would Transsion use the proceeds for?
Based on the company’s stated plan as summarized by ET Net, the estimated net proceeds at the midpoint price would be allocated as follows:

How strong was demand for the offering?
The South China Morning Post reported on October 12 that preliminary figures showed about 14,000 applications and roughly 3.5-times oversubscription. The newspaper attributed those figures to people familiar with the matter. They indicate reported early demand, but do not establish the final allotment results or confirm the final price.
How dominant is Transsion in Africa?
A China Daily report carrying Bloomberg reporting said on October 7 that Transsion commanded 53% of Africa’s mobile-phone market by unit sales and identified TECNO and Infinix as company brands. The cited passage does not specify the measurement year. The figure is therefore best understood as a reported share by phone units, not as an audited current-year measure or a smartphone-only market share.

Transsion’s company announcement index listed its H-share prospectus and related offering notices dated October 9, 2026. The HKEX prospectus page for Shenzhen Transsion Holdings includes sections on the company’s business, financial information, offering structure and intended use of proceeds. For final pricing and allotment, the relevant confirmation is the issuer’s published notice rather than preliminary demand reporting or an earlier estimate.
