If you’re looking for a Trader Joe’s snack with a winter connection, start with Chocolate Chip Poffertjes: Trader Joe’s calls them limited time, and they take less than a minute to heat in a microwave. The other products in the current dated seasonal lineup come from the store’s Fall 2026 flyer, not a confirmed winter release. Seasonal labels don’t guarantee that an item is in stock at your local store, so check before making a special trip.
The winter-associated pick: Chocolate Chip Poffertjes
Trader Joe’s describes poffertjes as a fixture of winter festivals in the Netherlands and its chocolate-chip version as “a delightfully sweet and one-or-two-bite size treat.” The product page labels them limited time. They’re a dessert-like snack that needs heating rather than a ready-to-eat bagged snack: Trader Joe’s says they take less than a minute in the microwave.
Trader Joe’s suggests serving them with melted butter and powdered sugar, maple syrup, or Organic Maple Butter. Its product page lists an 11.3-ounce package at $3.99; check your local store for current price and stock. The page does not establish a Winter 2026 launch date or confirm that the product is available at every store.
Fall 2026 snacks: seasonal picks, not a winter lineup
Trader Joe’s Fall 2026 Fearless Flyer, Vol. 13, No. 1, dated September 8, 2026, lists these products under Snacks & Sweets. They can be useful fall-season options, but their appearance in this flyer is not evidence that they are winter releases.

The Fall 2026 flyer also describes the pumpkin seeds as available while supplies last. Neither source confirms stock at a particular store or gives a sell-out date.
For another pumpkin-season product, Trader Joe’s describes This Pumpkin Walks Into A Bar… Cereal Bars as available only during Pumpkin Season. That wording places them in the fall-season category; it does not establish winter availability.
