TradePub offers professional eBooks and other resources free to members, but requesting an item requires a professional profile and an email address. TradePub says it sends requested content to that address. The email is part of delivery; signing up for its newsletter is optional.
What can you get from TradePub?
TradePub describes its member library as offering professional content in several formats, including eBooks, white papers, research reports, magazine subscriptions, and audiobooks. Not every listing is an eBook, and the formats and availability depend on what is currently offered. TradePub’s About page describes free membership and access to its library.
Why does TradePub require an email address?
TradePub says you need a professional profile to request content and that it delivers the requested material to the email address you provide. It also says it sends a confirmation message and may send up to two additional follow-up emails if you have not opened the requested document. These messages relate to your request, rather than a newsletter subscription. TradePub explains its request and email process.
Is the newsletter required?
No. TradePub distinguishes request-related messages from its newsletter: members can choose whether to subscribe to the newsletter and can unsubscribe from it. Providing an email address to receive requested content does not, according to TradePub, mean that newsletter subscription is mandatory. See TradePub’s explanation of email and newsletter preferences.

Are TradePub’s offers really free?
TradePub presents its professional resource library as free to members. Magazine subscriptions have an additional qualification: TradePub’s FAQ says some publication offers include a limited free-trial period, after which the publisher may solicit a paid subscription if you want to continue. The FAQ also states, “TradePub.com never invoices for subscriptions.” That statement does not mean every publication offer has identical terms, or that a publisher will not contact you about continuing a subscription.
For a magazine offer, check the individual listing and qualification form for its duration, eligibility conditions, and any paid continuation offer. TradePub says publishers set qualification requirements, eligible countries, and subscription duration; an application may be rejected, and availability varies by geography. TradePub’s FAQ covers subscription terms and qualifications.

Who provides the magazine subscription?
TradePub says it collects qualified subscriptions for publishing clients and is an intermediary, not the magazine publisher. The publisher determines the offer’s terms and whether an application qualifies. Review the specific offer before submitting your information, especially if you are outside the listed eligible regions. TradePub explains its role in magazine subscriptions.
