The notice says OCV was based on documents candidates had already uploaded with their online applications. Inclusion meant provisional admission to onscreen verification; TNPSC cautioned that it did not assure admission to the next selection stage.
What CV and DV mean in this recruitment
“CV” refers here to certificate verification. The December 2024 PDF covers onscreen certificate verification, not an invitation to attend a current in-person event. TNPSC later published a separate list for physical certificate verification and counselling.

What happened after the OCV list
TNPSC’s later notice, dated 25 July 2025, listed candidates provisionally admitted to physical certificate verification and counselling at the Commission’s Chennai office from 4–7 August 2025. Those dates are historical, not upcoming. Candidates called for that stage were instructed to download their admission memorandum and bring relevant original documents. TNPSC said eligibility would be determined after document verification and that list inclusion did not guarantee selection.
The written examination took place on 7 May 2023 in two shifts, according to Scroll’s 6 December 2024 report. Written-examination results and marks or ranks were published on 27 November 2024, as referenced in TNPSC’s later notice. Scroll reported 761 posts in the recruitment drive; that vacancy count is not independently confirmed here against the original recruitment notification.

Check TNPSC for any current result or action
The 2025 counselling dates have passed. The notices cited here do not establish whether TNPSC published a final result after counselling. If you need the recruitment’s present status or must take action, check TNPSC’s current results archive and notices rather than relying on an old CV-list headline or treating the past schedule as current.
