No—the TNPSC Group VA application is not ending today. The deadline for Notification 16/2025 was 5 November 2025 at 11:59 p.m., so that application window has closed. The notice was for recruitment by transfer among certain Tamil Nadu government employees, not an open application for all candidates. Check the TNPSC application portal for current notices.
What the TNPSC notice covered
Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) Notification 16/2025, dated 7 October 2025, concerned the Combined Civil Services Examination – Group VA Services. It invited online applications for recruitment by transfer from holders of Junior Assistant or Assistant posts in the Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service or Tamil Nadu Judicial Ministerial Service. It was not a general application route for anyone seeking a government job.
The official Notification 16/2025 states that applications were invited only through online mode. Its stated closing time was 11:59 p.m. on 5 November 2025.
Can you still apply under Notification 16/2025?
No. The specified application deadline has passed. A late application should not be assumed possible; consult TNPSC directly for any official update rather than relying on an old deadline headline.

How to check for a current TNPSC opportunity
- Open the official TNPSC application portal.
- Review the live notification list and open the notice for the examination you are considering. The portal’s surfaced list identifies Group VA as an earlier cycle and includes other 2026 examinations.
- Check that notice’s eligibility, application deadline, any correction or fee-payment dates, examination papers, and schedule. Do not carry dates or eligibility requirements forward from the 2025 Group VA notice.
- For additional official notices, consult the TNPSC notifications archive.
What the 2025 notice says about the exam
The notification specifies General Tamil and General English written papers. The reviewed notice information does not establish a written-examination date, so candidates should use a later official TNPSC notice or update for scheduling rather than infer a date from the application deadline.
