Why 2,147 appears in later notices
The 2,250 figure is the count in the original 2023 notification. In Corrigendum II, dated 24 November 2025, MRB announced an additional application window based on a revised tentative estimate of 2,147 vacancies. That later estimate is not interchangeable with the original figure and should not be read as a confirmed count of posts still unfilled. The corrigendum governs the later application window and its instructions.

What prior applicants were told in 2025
Corrigendum II said candidates who had already applied did not need to submit another application. Those who had already paid the fee did not need to pay again; existing applicants could edit their application. These directions applied to the additional window announced by that corrigendum.

How to check the latest VHN recruitment status
- Open the MRB Notification No.10/MRB/2023 listing.
- Find the entries for ANM / Village Health Nurse or Notification No.10/MRB/2023, and open the relevant notice or schedule.
- Check the date and document title before acting. The listing includes later materials such as Corrigendum V, merit-list items and certificate-verification schedules; those titles alone do not establish an individual candidate’s selection or current next step.
The official listing reviewed reports an update date of 19 May 2026. Check it directly for any notice posted later; a listing date is not a guarantee that no subsequent update exists.

There is no open application window established by these notices: the 2023 deadline and the 2025 additional-window deadline have both passed. MRB’s general FAQ says applications are accepted only online and that Employment Exchange registration does not itself count as applying.
