Tamil Nadu’s Medical Services Recruitment Board (MRB) closed online applications for its 2025 Assistant Medical Officer (AMO) recruitment on 4 March 2025. The three notices announced 26 Siddha posts, two Ayurveda posts and one Unani post—a derived total of 29 vacancies. The application window is no longer open.
TN MRB AMO 2025 vacancies by discipline
MRB issued a separate notification for each discipline. The published vacancy counts were:

The total of 29 is calculated by adding the three official notice counts. The notices describe temporary Assistant Medical Officer posts in the Tamil Nadu Medical Service.
When was the last date to apply?
The deadline for online applications was 4 March 2025 for all three disciplines. The Siddha notification, dated 12 February 2025, invited applications online up to that date; the Ayurveda and Unani notices gave the same closing date. Candidates cannot apply through this expired application window.

Is TN MRB AMO registration still open?
No. The March 2025 application period has ended. MRB’s official notifications listing includes later Assistant Medical Officer recruitment notices and recruitment-stage links. Its examination listing records 23 November 2025 for the Siddha AMO examination, confirming that the 2025 recruitment has moved beyond its application stage. That date relates to the Siddha examination listing, not a new application deadline.
Anyone looking for a future opportunity should wait for a new MRB notification; the 2025 deadline does not establish when another recruitment will open.

Where to check eligibility and recruitment conditions
Eligibility, age limits, category rules, fees, required documents and selection procedures can differ by discipline. Check the complete notification for the specific post you are considering, along with any later corrigendum or update published by MRB. Do not assume that a qualification or document rule in the Siddha notice also applies to Ayurveda or Unani.
