The offer ended on June 12, 2025, or earlier if stocks ran out; it is not available now.
How much was the PS5 at TIM?
TIM announced the promotion on June 2, 2025, for its Brazilian stores. The stated promotional price for a new PS5 was R$1,999, subject to eligibility for the TIM Black Família 100GB plan. TIM said the console could be paid in 21 installments of R$96, depending on the payment method; that qualified installment description should not be treated as a different payment schedule or a separately verified total. How the PS4 trade-in discount worked
Customers trading in a used PS4 in good condition at a TIM store could receive an additional R$700 discount. TIM described the resulting PS5 price as “as low as” R$1,299. The lowest figure therefore depended on both the eligible plan offer and acceptance of the PS4 for the full stated trade-in discount; it was not the universal price for any used console.
The announcement did not publish a detailed inspection rubric or guarantee that every PS4 would qualify for the full R$700. It also did not identify a PS4 model requirement or state a market valuation for the trade-in device.

- Vertical Stand sold seperately
Include the plan cost in the comparison
TIM reported a monthly price of R$304.99 for TIM Black Família 100GB, covering the account holder and up to three dependents. That recurring plan cost is separate from the console’s promotional price, so the R$1,299 or R$1,999 console figure alone does not capture the overall spending context for someone taking the offer.
The campaign announcement does not disclose plan-fidelity or commitment terms for this offer. It also does not specify the exact PS5 hardware revision or bundle contents. Anyone comparing a current console purchase should check the console version and included items, total upfront or installment cost, any service-plan commitment and cost, and the trade-in valuation rather than assuming the historical offer would be cheaper.

Is the TIM PS5 offer still available?
No. TIM said the campaign was valid until June 12, 2025, or while stocks lasted. The promotion has expired, and its announcement does not establish current PS5 pricing, store inventory, present plan eligibility, or terms for any later TIM offer.

The offer details and prices are TIM’s own campaign figures, not an independent finding that TIM had the market’s best price. TIM CMO Paulo Esperandio described the company’s partnerships and claimed the trade-in could provide a “very advantageous” price, but that is a company statement rather than independent price validation.
