The deal was for Corsair’s ONE i500, a compact prebuilt with an Intel Core i9-14900K, GeForce RTX 4090, 64GB of DDR5 memory and a 2TB SSD. WePC reported on November 29, 2024, that Amazon was selling it for $3,994 against a reference price of about $4,700—roughly $706, or 15%, off. That was a Black Friday 2024 promotion, not a live Black Friday 2026 offer.

WePC reported a $3,994 Amazon price and a reference price of about $4,700 in its article updated November 29, 2024. Subtracting those figures gives approximately $706, commonly rounded to $700; relative to the reported reference price, that is about 15%. The reference price is what WePC reported, not a separately verified Corsair MSRP. WePC also described the offer as a return to the product’s lowest price at that time; that claim is attributable to its report, not a complete price history.

Why the configuration drew attention
RTX 4090 graphics
The RTX 4090 has 24GB of GDDR6X VRAM and was a former flagship in Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 40 series. That memory and GPU capability make it relevant to demanding 4K gaming, ray tracing, high-resolution textures and GPU-accelerated creative work. Actual frame rates depend on the game, settings and other conditions; the deal report does not provide benchmark results for this PC.

High-end processor and 64GB of memory
The i9-14900K is a high-end 14th-generation Intel desktop processor. Paired with 64GB of DDR5-6000 memory, it gives the system capacity for demanding multitasking, streaming alongside games, video editing, virtual machines and other creative workflows. Many gaming-only buyers will not need 64GB, so some of the cost goes toward capacity that may be more useful to creators and heavy multitaskers.

Compact prebuilt design
The i500’s micro-ATX-based compact enclosure takes less desk space than many full-size towers, and it arrives assembled with Windows installed. Liquid cooling for both processor and graphics card supports a high-performance setup in that enclosure. The trade-off is that a compact, liquid-cooled system can be more involved to service and less flexible to upgrade than a conventional tower.

What to weigh before buying an i500 now
- Older-generation platform: By 2026, the RTX 4090 and i9-14900K are previous-generation parts. A newer system may offer a more recent GPU feature set, better efficiency, or a newer CPU platform. Compare actual configurations and prices rather than assuming the older flagship is the better value.
- Upgrade and service constraints: Corsair identifies memory and storage as upgradeable, but that does not establish that every component is equally easy to replace. Confirm the upgrade path for the specific unit and ask whether modifications affect warranty or support.
- Storage capacity: The included 2TB NVMe drive is a useful starting point, but large games, recordings and creative projects can use it quickly. Corsair’s cited configuration lists no secondary drive.
- Cooling complexity: Liquid cooling involves pumps, radiators and tubing, unlike a simpler air-cooled setup. The available product information does not establish a failure rate or expected lifespan.
- Power: Corsair lists a 1000W SFX 80 Plus Gold supply for this configuration. Verify the PSU and power-connector arrangement on the exact model rather than relying on a generic marketplace description.
- Total price: Even at the historical $3,994 sale price, this was a costly desktop. Compare a current quote with newer-generation prebuilts that meet your needs before committing.
Refurbished Revival units are not the 2024 deal
Corsair’s Revival Series includes refurbished RTX 4090 i500 systems. The category showed price signals of approximately $3,099.99 to $3,299.99 for listed configurations, depending on finish and listing; prices and stock are dynamic and should be checked directly. These are not equivalent to the new retail unit in the 2024 promotion.
Warranty terms can differ substantially. The standard i500 listing specifies two years, while at least one cited Revival listing showed a 90-day warranty. Before buying refurbished, compare the exact SKU, condition, included accessories, return policy and warranty. A lower price may not compensate for a shorter protection period if that matters to you. See Corsair’s RTX 4090 Revival Series listings and the specific Metal Dark Revival listing.

Who should consider this PC?
The i500 makes the most sense for someone who specifically wants RTX 4090-class performance in a compact, factory-assembled system and is comfortable with its upgrade and service trade-offs. In 2026, consider one only after checking the live price, condition and warranty against newer alternatives. The November 2024 $3,994 promotion was a compelling historical discount; it is not evidence that a present-day listing is similarly priced or an equivalent deal.
