Which 2025 Simply Recipes Grocery Award winners are identified?
A LinkedIn post by Scott Morris names these two bettergoods products and their award categories:

How many products did the awards recognize?
The awards were framed as a list of 20 new products: that count appears in the title of a Gotham Greens press page about the awards and in Morris’s LinkedIn post. The official Simply Recipes winner article was not retrieved, so these two product examples should not be treated as the complete list.
#1 Best Overall
A Gotham Greens press page uses the title “SIMPLY RECIPES Grocery Awards: The 20 Best New Products of 2025.” Its returned content confirms the award article’s framing but does not establish that Gotham Greens itself won.
What products were eligible?
The historical submission announcement described the awards as a search for new grocery products that make weeknight dinners easier. It included frozen entrées and sides, refrigerated staples, and pantry staples. Drinks, desserts, snacks, and breakfast or lunch products were excluded.

To qualify under the announcement’s rules, a product had to launch or become new to major supermarket shelves between January and December 2024, stay in stock at least through April 2025, and be available from at least one U.S.-based national supermarket chain. These were entry requirements for the 2025 awards; they do not show that any product remains in stock today. The announcement is reproduced by Yahoo Lifestyle.
What can shoppers tell from the available winner information?
The two named products represent different uses: frozen wings are a main-dish option, while flavored butter is a refrigerated ingredient or finishing addition. The available reporting does not provide verified prices, current retailer availability, preparation directions, or the judges’ product-by-product testing rationale. That is not enough to make a reliable value comparison or recommend one over the other for a particular budget or meal plan.
A CBS News 2025 awards segment was described as saying editors tested nearly 400 products and found options under $20. That is secondary reporting about the segment, not an independently confirmed sample size or an individual-winner price. It should not be read as evidence that either named product costs under $20.

The full official category-by-category list was not available in the sources identified here. The award-submission announcement said winners would be revealed on March 18, 2025, but that date and the award count do not supply the missing product names. For an exact list, category assignments, or current buying information, readers need the original winner article or current listings from retailers; neither is established by the available reports.
