The reported Steam Black Friday sale ran November 24 through December 1, 2025, and has ended. A November 27, 2025, deal guide listed the 15 PC games below at historical U.S.-dollar sale prices. They are useful as a record of what the guide considered worthwhile—not as current offers or independently verified price-history data.
What happened to Steam’s 2025 Black Friday sale?
PC Gamer and TechRadar reported that Steam’s Black Friday sale ran November 24–December 1, 2025. Valve’s earlier 2025 schedule listed the Autumn Sale for September 29–October 6, and Valve’s September 29 announcement confirmed those dates. The later November coverage does not conflict with the earlier calendar: the Black Friday sale was reported afterward. Valve did not issue a direct statement about the November sale in the sources cited here. Valve’s Autumn Sale announcement; PC Gamer’s sale coverage; TechRadar’s sale coverage.

A large discount alone does not make a game a good fit. The edition, included content, genre, expected playtime, and whether you need a co-op partner all affect value. This table preserves the guide’s reported prices and describes the type of player each pick may suit; the assessments are not based on personal gameplay or testing.

All entries and figures in the table are attributed to AllThings. How’s November 27, 2025 guide. Broad descriptions such as “low double digits” reflect that guide’s wording rather than a precise archived store price. A separate contemporaneous guide reported examples including Dead Space Remake at $8.99 (85% off), It Takes Two at $9.99 (75% off), and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 at $24 (60% off); those are separate historical reports, not additional items in this 15-game selection. How to judge whether a deal is good value for you
- Look at the final price as well as the discount. A large percentage off can still leave a game outside your budget; compare the amount you would actually pay.
- Check the edition contents. A bundle or deluxe edition may include multiple games or meaningful add-ons, but confirm what is included on the store page before buying.
- Match the game to your play style. The list spans long campaigns, horror, fighting, branching narrative, and collections. A cheap co-op game such as It Takes Two is only useful if you have someone to play with.
- Separate historical prices from current availability. These are past sale-period reports, not a promise of a matching price in a later sale or in your region.
How to prepare for a future Steam discount
- Add games to your Steam wishlist: Steam Support says wishlisted games can generate sale notifications. See Steam Support’s wishlist and sale information.
- Check the current store listing before purchasing: verify the regional price, edition, and included content at the time you are ready to buy.
- Buy during the sale if the price works for you: Steam Support says discounts cannot be applied retroactively to purchases made outside the sale period. Review the current support page for its up-to-date policy.
What about the Steam Deck?
PC Gamer and TechRadar also reported a 20% discount on the 256GB LCD Steam Deck during the broader November 2025 sale period. That was a separate, expired hardware offer—not one of the 15 PC games—and does not establish a current price. PC Gamer; TechRadar.
