What yacht does Rafael Nadal own?
Great White is a custom 80 Sunreef Power, a motorized catamaran built by Sunreef Yachts. The builder announced its handover to Nadal in Mallorca on June 9, 2020, and described the vessel as designed for long offshore cruising. These details come from the manufacturer, not an independent inspection or performance test. Sunreef’s delivery announcement identifies the yacht and reports its principal specifications.
How much is Great White worth?
The $6 million figure in the original title is not verified by the official builder sources. Sunreef’s delivery and owner-profile articles do not publish a price or a purchase contract. A Spanish-language AS article has been cited for an estimated market value of €5.5 million, but an estimate is not proof of the yacht’s sale price—and it does not establish a $6 million value. Without an authenticated transaction or a reliable current appraisal, the yacht’s precise value remains uncertain.
How is the yacht laid out?
Sunreef reports more than 360 m² of living area and a four-cabin arrangement for up to eight guests. Cabins and owner’s suite
The starboard hull contains the owner’s suite, a guest cabin and crew quarters. Two more guest cabins and the galley are in the port hull. The owner’s suite includes a walk-in dressing area, sofa, ceiling-mounted television and a fold-out private balcony.
Saloon and outdoor entertaining
The saloon has large sofas, dining space for eight and two 77-inch televisions mounted back-to-back. The aft cockpit is set up for outdoor dining and includes a weatherproof television. Above, the flybridge combines seating, a bar, sunpads and a pop-up television.

Water access and toys
The builder describes an aft garage for a jet ski and other water toys, plus a refueling station. A hydraulic swim platform carries the tender and provides access to the water.
What performance does Sunreef report?
Sunreef lists a maximum speed of 23 knots and a cruising speed of 16 knots. These are manufacturer-published figures; they are not independently verified results and do not, by themselves, establish the yacht’s speed under particular weather, loading or operating conditions.

Why did Nadal choose a power catamaran?
In a roundup of coverage, Sunreef says Nadal described yacht ownership as flexible and boating as a way to get away from stress and restore positive energy. The builder’s summary of a Forbes interview also says he had limited time and wanted flexibility. This offers context for the choice, rather than proof of a general advantage over other yacht types.
