Why old links may make the deal look current
Search engines can continue showing older Black Friday headlines long after a promotion ends. An old article or landing page may still open successfully, but the page can now display Apple’s standard subscription price instead of the former promotional rate.
If $5.99 does not appear after you sign in, that does not necessarily mean the link is broken. The public 2025 Black Friday campaign has ended. Any offer displayed inside your Apple Account should be evaluated using its own eligibility rules, price, expiration date, and renewal terms—not the headline of an old deal article.

- Apple One: Apple TV is included in Apple’s bundle of services. It may make sense if you already pay for several included services; compare the live bundle price with what you would otherwise spend.
- Student access: Apple says its Apple Music Student Plan includes access to Apple TV for eligible students, subject to Apple’s student-plan requirements.

Apple TV is primarily a service for Apple Originals, including dramas, comedies, science fiction, documentaries, and films. Apple describes its Apple programming as ad-free. In other words, “six people” means the subscriber plus up to five family members—not six unrelated accounts.

The Apple TV app is broader than the Apple TV subscription. The app can also show third-party channels and titles available for separate rental or purchase. Those items are not automatically included with the Apple TV subscription. Apple’s offer terms explain these limitations.

- Open the Apple TV app or visit Apple’s official subscription page.
- Sign in with the Apple Account you intend to use.
- Select the available trial or subscription option.
- Before confirming, review the price, trial length, eligibility language, and renewal date.
- After subscribing, open your account’s subscription settings and verify the next billing date.
The labels and account-management screens can differ by device, operating system, country, and billing provider. Apple also notes that features, pricing, promotions, and sports availability vary by region.

The 2025 Amazon Prime Video version of the promotion was reported as requiring an active Prime Video membership and excluding people with an existing Apple TV subscription.
