Those offers have expired. Costco also had a separate warehouse-savings period from September 21 through October 18, 2026, so the September coupon-book prices should not be treated as current deals. This is an editorial selection across household staples, food, seasonal utility and larger purchases—not a ranking published by Costco or the deal archive.
What the September coupon book offered
Costco Insider’s archived list reports the following discounts. The source summary does not supply every item’s regular price, package size or unit price, so a larger dollar discount does not necessarily mean a better per-unit value. All prices and discounts here are historical, not current offers. Costco Insider’s September 2026 coupon-book roundup.
| Pick | Reported offer | What to compare |
|---|---|---|
| Suncast 6 × 5 ft modern shed | $150 off | Check the shed’s footprint, delivery and assembly costs, and local availability before comparing the discount with other storage options. |
| Downy Unstopables Fresh Laundry Scent Beads | $4 off | Compare package size and cost per unit; the dollar discount alone does not establish value. |
| Dawn Platinum Advanced Power Dishwashing Liquid | $2.40 off | Compare the package size and unit price with the dishwashing liquid you normally buy. |
| Bounty Advanced Paper Towels | $5.60 off | Cost per sheet and whether you have room to store a bulk pack are useful comparisons. |
| Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides | $29.99 less $6 = $23.99 | The archive gives both the listed price and discounted price. It does not establish nutrition or medical benefits. |
| Robert Irvine’s Fit Crunch Chocolate Peanut Butter Baked Protein Bars | $6 off | Check the box count and cost per bar against other snacks you would actually buy. |
| Dino Buddies dinosaur-shaped chicken breast nuggets | $14.99 less $4 = $10.99 | The source summary does not state serving count or unit price, so compare the package details before judging value. |
| Chomps Original Beef Sticks, 12 count | $5 off | Verify the offer’s exact package and compare cost per stick with your usual option. |
| Michelin tires | $80 off a set of four | Confirm that the tires fit your vehicle and check local installation terms and total cost. |
How to judge which discount was most useful
The shed had the largest stated dollar reduction among these nine picks, at $150, while Bounty paper towels had a reported $5.60 discount and Michelin tires were $80 off a set of four. Those figures are not directly comparable: the archive does not provide enough original-price or package information to calculate a consistent percentage or unit-price ranking across all nine.
- For household consumables and packaged snacks, compare the package quantity and unit cost with products you already buy.
- For the shed, account for delivery, assembly and whether its dimensions suit your space.
- For tires, confirm vehicle fitment and installation charges rather than treating the discount as the full purchase cost.
- Consider whether you need the item and can use or store it; a discount on a bulk purchase is not a saving if it goes unused.
Other offers in the archived book
The same roundup also reported Orgain Organic Kids Nutritional Protein Shake at $37.99 less $9, or $28.99, and a 30-count Mars Chocolate Candy Variety Pack with $7.50 off. These were alternatives in the coupon book, not part of the nine picks above.

The offer is historical. The roundup points to terms for eligibility and receipt-submission requirements, which should be checked before relying on the mechanics of any comparable promotion.

The August 24–September 20 coupon-book window has ended. Costco’s separate warehouse-savings period was listed as September 21–October 18, 2026; check the current listing rather than assuming that a coupon-book item or price carried into that later period. Costco says displayed warehouse prices may vary in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Business Centers and online. Its warehouse savings page is the place to confirm the relevant listing, and local warehouse availability may differ.

The archived roundup describes coupon-book savings as automatic for members, but that general description does not verify the redemption rules for each historical offer.
