The seven Amazon gaming-mouse prices in Laptop Mag’s February 22, 2025 roundup are historical, not verified deals for October 2026. Its listed discounts ranged from about 31% to 57% by arithmetic—not 60%—and the G502 X Plus percentage does not match the prices shown. Use the roundup as a shortlist, not a current offer: check the exact Amazon listing, seller, condition, and checkout price before buying.
Laptop Mag’s original article described prices available “this weekend” when it was published. Amazon prices and stock can change, and no live listing or current price is established here.
What the 2025 roundup actually listed
The table preserves the prices and product descriptions reported by Laptop Mag on February 22, 2025. The percentage column is recalculated from each displayed list and sale price; it is not evidence of a current Amazon discount or a product’s typical market price.
| Mouse | List price → sale price (Feb. 22, 2025) | Reduction from those prices | Reported characteristics | Historical fit and caveat |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Logitech G305 Lightspeed | $49 → $29 | About 41% | Wireless; HERO 12K sensor; six programmable buttons | Lowest listed price and a budget wireless choice; uses a replaceable AA battery and has fewer features than premium wireless models. |
| Razer Basilisk V3 | $69 → $39 | About 43% | Wired; sculpted ergonomic shell, thumb rest, 11 programmable buttons, RGB, 26K sensor, optical switches | Right-handed ergonomic and control-focused option; not a fit for left-handed users seeking a wireless or especially light mouse. |
| Logitech G502 HERO | $79 → $34 | About 57% | Wired; HERO 25K sensor; adjustable weights and programmable controls | Macro and productivity crossover; its heavier design may not suit players who prioritize a very light FPS mouse. |
| Logitech G502 X Plus Lightspeed | $159 → $104 | About 35% by arithmetic; the article labeled it 28% | Wireless; thumb rest, five programmable buttons as described in the article, LIGHTFORCE switches, HERO 25K sensor and RGB | Premium ergonomic wireless option; costs more than the budget picks and may be unnecessary for minimalist play. The displayed prices do not support the article’s stated 28% reduction. |
| Corsair M75 AIR Wireless | $99 → $59 | About 40% | Wireless; 60 grams; ambidextrous design; 26K sensor | Lightweight, simpler-control option; not designed for buyers who want a large set of MMO or productivity buttons. |
| Glorious PRO Wireless Series 2 | $129 → $71 | About 45% | Wireless; 55 grams; symmetrical claw-grip shape; 26K sensor, optical switches and reported 8K wireless polling | Lightweight symmetrical option; the article cautioned that its smaller shell may not suit larger hands. |
| Asus ROG Keris II Ace | $159 → $109 | About 31% | 54 grams; tri-mode connectivity; 42K sensor, reported 8K wired polling and ROG optical switches | Esports-oriented, right-handed design; the high-end specifications are not automatically useful to every player. |
All historical prices and reported characteristics in this table come from the February 2025 roundup. Its displayed G502 HERO prices imply the largest reduction, about 57%; its “60% off” headline is an approximation. The G502 X Plus figures imply about 35% off, not the 28% stated in the article. These calculations compare only the two prices shown; they do not establish how either price compares with recent Amazon pricing.

Which of the seven fits your needs?
For the least expensive historical wireless pick: Logitech G305 Lightspeed
At its reported $29 sale price, the G305 was the least expensive of the seven. Its six programmable buttons and wireless operation make it a plausible first gaming mouse or laptop-gaming upgrade if a replaceable AA battery is acceptable. Look elsewhere if you specifically want a rechargeable, ultralight mouse or more side buttons. Check Amazon listings for the G305; match the model and connection type before comparing prices.
For a right-handed ergonomic wired shape: Razer Basilisk V3
The thumb rest and 11 programmable buttons suit someone who values accessible controls and a sculpted shell more than a light, cable-free setup. It is a poor match for left-handed buyers and for players who want a lightweight FPS mouse. Its historical $39 price is not a current offer. Check Amazon listings for the Basilisk V3 and confirm that the listing is the wired V3, not another Basilisk model.
For programmable controls and adjustable weight: Logitech G502 HERO
The wired G502 HERO is the historical list’s strongest fit for someone who wants multiple controls for gaming and general computer use, plus adjustable weights. Those features come with a heavier design, so it is less compelling if low weight is your main FPS priority. The historical $34 sale price represented about 57% off the displayed $79 list price. Check Amazon listings for the G502 HERO; confirm the wired HERO model rather than a G502 X or wireless variant.
Rank #2
- HERO Gaming Sensor: Next generation HERO mouse sensor delivers precision tracking up to 25600 DPI with zero smoothing, filtering or acceleration
- 11 programmable buttons and dual mode hyper-fast scroll wheel: The Logitech wired gaming mouse gives you fully customizable control over your gameplay
- Adjustable weights: Match your playing style. Arrange up to five 3.6 g weights for a personalized weight and balance configuration
- LIGHTSYNC technology: Logitech G LIGHTSYNC technology provides fully customizable RGB lighting that can also synchronize with your gaming (requires Logitech Gaming Software)
- Mechanical Switch Button Tensioning: A metal spring tensioning system and metal pivot hinges are built into left and right computer gaming mouse buttons for a crisp, clean click feel with rapid click feedback
For a feature-rich ergonomic wireless option: Logitech G502 X Plus Lightspeed
The reported thumb rest, wireless connection, RGB and programmable controls make this the premium G502 choice in the roundup. Its $104 historical price was still substantially above the G305 and wired G502 HERO. The listed $159 and $104 prices calculate to about 35% off, despite the article’s 28% label. Check Amazon listings for the G502 X Plus and verify the Plus Lightspeed version; similarly named models can differ in connection and features.

For a lightweight ambidextrous shape: Corsair M75 AIR Wireless
At a reported 60 grams, the M75 AIR was the roundup’s lightweight ambidextrous option. Its simpler control layout makes more sense for straightforward gaming than for MMO play or macro-heavy productivity. “Ambidextrous” does not by itself confirm that every side button is equally accessible on either side, so inspect the exact button layout if you use your left hand. Check Amazon listings for the M75 AIR Wireless.
For a small, symmetrical claw-grip mouse: Glorious PRO Wireless Series 2
The reported 55-gram weight and symmetrical shell point toward buyers who favor a light claw-grip mouse. Laptop Mag warned that this model is smaller than many other Glorious mice and may not suit larger hands. The article also reported 8K wireless polling, but that headline figure alone does not establish a meaningful advantage in your games or setup. Check Amazon listings for the PRO Wireless Series 2 and confirm the exact generation.
Rank #3
- Next-gen 12,000 DPI HERO optical sensor delivers unrivaled gaming performance, accuracy and power efficiency
- Advanced LIGHTSPEED wireless gaming mouse for super-fast 1 ms response time and faster than wired performance
- Ultra-long battery life gives you up to 250 hours of continuous gaming on a single AA battery
- Lightweight mechanical design and classic shape for maximum maneuverability, durability and comfort
- Compact, portable design with convenient built-in storage for included USB wireless receiver
For a light, right-handed esports-oriented design: Asus ROG Keris II Ace
The reported 54-gram weight and tri-mode connectivity make the Keris II Ace the high-spec, right-handed option in this historical group. Left-handed buyers should rule it out; other buyers should decide whether its connection and polling features solve a real need before paying a premium. Check Amazon listings for the Keris II Ace and verify the model and included receiver.
How to decide whether an Amazon mouse deal is genuinely good
Start with fit, not the largest discount
Grip style, hand size, shell dimensions, hump position and button reach affect whether a mouse feels controllable. A thumb rest can help one right-handed player and obstruct another; a small symmetrical shell can be comfortable for one hand and cramped for another. If possible, compare the mouse’s dimensions and return terms with a shape you already know works. For FPS, predictable handling, low weight and low-friction feet are often more relevant than extra buttons. MOBA players may value reachable side controls; none of these seven is a conventional 12-button MMO mouse. The G502 models are the more natural historical choices for macro-heavy or mixed gaming and productivity use.
Compare the real checkout price and listing
An Amazon reference price may be MSRP rather than a recent typical price. Before treating a discount as savings, check the price you will actually pay, including any coupon and its conditions. Confirm that the price applies to your chosen color and configuration, and that the listing is new if that is what you want. Check whether the seller is Amazon, the manufacturer or a third party; seller and condition can affect warranty eligibility and returns. Delivery estimates, stock and geographic availability can change, and marketplace imports may have different packaging or regional support.

Wired, wireless, DPI and polling rate: what the specs tell you
Wired versus wireless
A wired mouse avoids battery management and wireless interference concerns, but cable drag can matter depending on your desk and play style. A wireless model offers more freedom; a reliable 2.4GHz gaming receiver is not the same as relying on Bluetooth, which can have different latency or feature limitations. Check which connection modes the exact model and listing support. Battery life depends on usage and settings such as RGB and polling rate. Confirm whether the mouse can be used while charging and what accessories are included rather than assuming every package is the same.
DPI is a ceiling, not a quality ranking
A maximum DPI number describes a sensor setting, not how accurately or consistently the mouse tracks in the games you play. Shape, sensor implementation, weight, feet, wireless stability and software can matter more in practice. A reported 42K or 26K sensor is not automatically better for ordinary play than a 12K or 25K one.
Polling rate has trade-offs
Higher polling rates report mouse movement more frequently, but can use more battery and increase CPU workload. Whether the difference is perceptible depends on factors including your display refresh rate, game engine, system performance and sensitivity. Do not pay extra for 8K polling solely because the number is larger; check whether the mode requires a particular receiver, wired connection, firmware or software setting.
Best Value
- Pentakill, 5 DPI Levels - Geared with 5 redefinable DPI levels (default as: 500/1000/2000/3000/4000), easy to switch between different game needs. Dedicated demand of DPI options between 500-8000 is also available to be processed by software.
- Any Button is Reassignable - 11 programmable buttons are all editable with customizable tactical keybinds in whatever game or work you are engaging. 1 rapid fire + 2 side macro buttons offer you a better gaming and working experience.
- Comfort Grip with Details - The skin-friendly frosted coating is the main comfort grip of the mouse surface, which offers you the most enjoyable fingerprint-free tactility. The left side equipped with rubber texture strengthened the friction and made the mouse easier to control.
- 5 Decent Backlit Modes - Turn the backlit on and make some kills in your gaming battlefield. The hyped dynamic RGB backlit vibe will never let you down when decorating your gaming space, it would be better with other Redragon accessories with lights on.
- Fatigue Killer with Ergonomic Design - Solid frame with a streamlined and general claw-grip design offers a satisfying and comfortable gaming experience with less fatigue even though after hours of use.
Switches, RGB and software
Optical switches and RGB are features, not automatic performance upgrades: click feel is personal, while lighting may affect battery life without improving tracking. Customization and feature support can also vary by operating system and utility. The 2025 article made a Windows and macOS compatibility claim for the G502 X Plus but did not establish that all remapping, macros, lighting or firmware functions work identically on both platforms. Check current Logitech G HUB, Razer Synapse, Glorious CORE, Corsair iCUE or ASUS Armoury Crate documentation for the exact mouse and operating system you use.
Bottom line: treat the list as a shortlist, not a live deal ranking
The historical roundup points to useful buyer profiles: the G305 for budget wireless, the Basilisk V3 for a right-handed ergonomic wired mouse, the G502 HERO for programmable controls, and the lighter wireless designs for buyers prioritizing low weight. But the February 2025 prices cannot tell you what to buy in October 2026. Choose by fit and features first, then judge the live Amazon checkout price against the exact model, seller, condition and return terms.
