That is not an all-in price: taxes and several fees are extra, and the offer is not available everywhere. To judge whether it fits your budget, account for the upfront payment, mileage limit, and lease-end buyout—not just the headline monthly figure.
What the Toyota bZ lease offer includes
Toyota’s offer example lists these terms for a 2026 bZ XLE:
| Offer detail | Toyota’s stated terms |
|---|---|
| Advertised payment | $379 per month for 36 months |
| Due at signing | $3,999 |
| Annual mileage | 10,000 miles per year |
| Lease bonus cash | $3,250 included in the example |
| Net capitalized cost | $31,486 |
| Lease-end purchase amount | $17,860 |
These figures come from Toyota’s regional offer example; eligibility is for qualified lessees at participating dealers. The offer excludes tax, title, license, registration, a $750 acquisition fee, and dealer options or charges. The $379 payment therefore does not represent the full monthly cost of leasing the vehicle. See Toyota’s offer terms.
How to compare the advertised payment with the real cost
A useful first comparison is to spread the $3,999 due at signing across the 36-month term: that is about $111 per month. Adding it to the advertised payment gives an approximate $490 per month before the excluded taxes and fees. This is a comparison aid, not Toyota’s stated monthly payment or a complete cost quote; the exact amount you pay at signing may include items that vary by dealer and location.

Before signing, ask the dealer for a written quote showing the full amount due at signing, recurring payment including taxes, any dealer-installed options, and the amount due at lease end if you choose to purchase the vehicle. Compare the sum of the payments and upfront charges across offers with the same term and mileage allowance.
Check mileage, fees, and the buyout before signing
Mileage allowance
The Toyota example is based on 10,000 miles per year. Confirm that limit and the contract’s charge for excess mileage with the participating dealer; the cited offer page does not state an overage charge. If you expect to drive more, compare the cost of a higher-mileage lease rather than assuming the advertised terms will suit you.

Upfront and recurring charges

Lease-end purchase amount
The example lists a $17,860 lease-end purchase amount. Treat that as the stated figure for this configuration, not a general buyout price for every bZ lease. Ask whether the contract adds taxes, fees, or other amounts if you buy the vehicle, and review the signed lease for the governing terms.

How the bZ’s range and charging access affect the decision
Toyota’s 2026 offer page lists an EPA-estimated range of 314 miles and 375 horsepower for the bZ. Toyota also says the vehicle has standard fast-charging access to Tesla Superchargers or NACS chargers, describing use of those chargers “even in cold weather.” Check the specific vehicle’s instructions and charger compatibility before a trip. Toyota’s bZ information provides the manufacturer’s model details.
A compatible NACS charging adapter may be useful in some situations, but do not assume any adapter will work. Verify the connector, certification, and compatibility for the exact bZ model and charging station. The offer’s range and charging figures may help with vehicle fit, but neither changes the lease’s mileage allowance or total cost.

The Toyota Central Atlantic example is regional and lists a different purchase amount and SRP from the $379 offer. BMW’s stated range belongs to the i4 eDrive40, while GM Financial’s mileage threshold and excess-mile charge apply to its Equinox EV example. Because upfront amounts and terms vary, a lower advertised payment alone does not establish which lease costs less overall.
