These 11 options are a practical shortlist—not a taste-tested ranking. Compare plan length, shipment dates, fruit quantity, delivery eligibility, and the full delivered cost before ordering, because “monthly” does not always mean year-round.
How to compare fruit clubs before you buy
A fruit of the month club is a subscription that sends fruit on a recurring schedule, often as a gift. The name alone does not tell you how many shipments are included, whether deliveries run all year, or which fruit will arrive. Use the product page and checkout details to compare the same plan duration and destination.
- Fruit style: Decide whether you want familiar seasonal fruit, organic selections, exotic varieties, or citrus only.
- Schedule: Check shipment count, first shipment timing, and whether deliveries are year-round or limited to a harvest season.
- Quantity: Look for the weight or number of pieces in each shipment; the listings reviewed do not state comparable quantities across all clubs.
- Total cost: Compare the same number of shipments and include shipping and applicable fees. Displayed starting prices are not necessarily the amount you will pay.
- Destination and substitutions: Check state restrictions and whether the seller may replace listed fruit when it is unavailable or does not meet quality standards.
Merchant pages establish what sellers offer, not comparative taste, freshness, value, or delivery reliability. Prices and schedules below are the figures displayed on the cited pages on October 4, 2026; verify current terms before purchase.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Seasonality and delivery restrictions matter
A monthly shipment schedule does not necessarily mean deliveries in every month of the year. Citrus-focused options are tied to harvest season, while farm-led boxes may depend on when fruit is ready to ship. A monthly selection list is a guide, not a promise of exact contents: Frog Hollow notes harvest uncertainty, and Melissa’s allows substitutions when quality is inadequate.
State eligibility can also narrow the choices. In addition to Melissa’s citrus and pineapple restrictions and The Fruit Company’s cited California cherry restriction, Miami Fruit’s Florida Residents Club Box is limited to Florida residents. It sends fruit harvested each week, making it a different kind of recurring box rather than a directly comparable monthly gift subscription. See Miami Fruit’s Florida Residents Club Box.
Schacht Groves also lists a Monthly Fruit Club, but its storefront says citrus season returns in November 2026. Treat it as a seasonal alternative and confirm current plan details. See Schacht Groves’ storefront.
