Tesla’s official sources confirm active programs for Cybercab and Semi, and an official Roadster page—but they do not establish that these are the exact three vehicles meant by the headline. The evidence also points to different stages: Cybercab production-line installation, Semi early production and deliveries followed by a later volume-production plan, and no verifiable current Roadster delivery date.
Does Tesla confirm a specific list of three upcoming EVs?
No. Tesla’s official materials describe several vehicle programs, but they do not publish one definitive list of exactly three upcoming EVs matching this headline. Cybercab, Semi and Roadster are relevant programs, but the available sources do not establish that this is Tesla’s intended trio—or that all three are simply waiting to enter production.
The most useful way to read the pipeline is to separate each vehicle’s purpose and documented stage from the company’s projected timing.
Cybercab: a planned Robotaxi with production and regulatory milestones
Tesla describes Cybercab as a purpose-built Robotaxi and says it plans to mass-produce the vehicle. In its FY2025 update, Tesla reported that installation of Cybercab production lines had begun. That is evidence of a production program getting underway, not proof that mass production or broad customer service has begun. Tesla investor relations

Tesla’s Q2 2025 update projected volume production for Cybercab in 2026. That dated outlook is a company forecast, not confirmation that the target was achieved. Tesla’s FY2025 filing also cautions that development, launch and production ramps can be delayed. Tesla Q2 2025 update
Regulatory review is a live issue
On September 4, 2026, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced an Audit Query into Tesla’s Cybercab self-certification following commercial driverless deployment in Austin. NHTSA said it would evaluate the technical data and processes supporting Tesla’s compliance position, including requirements for a vehicle without traditional human controls. The agency said existing standards remain in force during the review. An Audit Query is an ongoing regulatory review, not a finding that the vehicle has or has not complied. Semi: early production is not the same as a full-scale ramp
The Semi is not a vehicle with no production history. Tesla’s FY2025 Form 10-K says it began early production and deliveries of the commercial electric truck in 2022: “In 2022, we also began early production and deliveries of a commercial electric vehicle, the Tesla Semi.” Tesla FY2025 Form 10-K
In its Q2 2025 update, Tesla projected volume production in 2026. Its Semi product page likewise says deliveries start in 2026 and invites fleet buyers to request ordering information. These are later ramp and delivery statements; they do not erase the earlier early-production and delivery milestone, or establish that volume production has occurred. Fleet operators can review Tesla’s Semi information and request ordering details.
