What does the $42,490 price include?
Tesla’s U.S. configuration page, accessed October 4, 2026, lists the Model 3 Premium rear-wheel-drive choice at $42,490. The page says displayed prices exclude taxes and other fees and may change; buyers should check the live configurator with their delivery ZIP code for a current location-specific amount. The page also says “Up to $4,000 potential savings after delivery available.” That is a potential-savings statement, not a guaranteed discount or evidence that a particular buyer qualifies. It should not be subtracted from the displayed price as though it were an assured incentive.

Confirm the current build and price in the live configurator because both availability and details can vary by location and change over time.

What Tesla states about Long Range RWD charging and warranty
For the Long Range rear-wheel-drive specifications, Tesla lists maximum Supercharging at 250 kW and a battery and drive-unit warranty of 8 years or 120,000 miles. Has the Long Range RWD returned?
The available Tesla pages establish that a Premium rear-wheel-drive model is currently listed at $42,490 and that Tesla publishes Long Range RWD specifications. They do not establish when the configuration disappeared or a date on which it returned. The accurate description is that it is currently listed, not that a verified reemergence occurred on a particular date.
Tesla’s October 2, 2026 production and delivery release reported 457,387 Model 3/Y vehicles produced and 478,237 delivered in Q3 2026.
