What were Lopez and Claggett reported to earn?
A June 29, 2024, report by AS USA attributed the pre-fight figures to Sporty Salaries. It described Lopez’s $1.5 million as guaranteed, with up to $3.5 million more from television revenue, and Claggett’s $500,000 as guaranteed, with a possible increase to $1.5 million.

Why do some reports give Lopez a different purse?
Salary Sport’s 2024 purse-history table lists Lopez at $3 million for the bout. That secondary listing differs from the pre-fight estimate reported by AS USA and does not establish that $3 million was his final payment. The sources describe different figures and do not provide a verified accounting that reconciles them.

Does an official record confirm the purse?
No. The Florida Athletic Commission’s official result records the June 29, 2024, event, lists Top Rank as promoter, and gives the result as a 12-round unanimous-decision win for Lopez. It lists the fighters at 139.4 pounds and 139.5 pounds, respectively, but publishes no purse amounts.
