Before choosing a current plan, compare the full recurring cost and conditions—not just the advertised monthly rate:
- Monthly price after any required payment discount, plus applicable taxes.
- High-speed data allowance and the speed after that allowance is reached.
- Countries included in the plan’s coverage or roaming terms.
- Whether the rate depends on bringing your own phone, financing a device, or accepting device-return obligations.
- Eligibility and duration for home-service bundle savings, and the promotion’s expiry or renewal conditions.
MobileSyrup’s May 2025 story also referenced then-current Freedom Mobile and Public Mobile alternatives, but those comparisons are historical and do not establish which carrier is cheaper now.
